If this happens to me I usually lay down, elevate my legs, and do something to distract myself for a couple hours. Watch something or read, that sort of stuff.

If you like psychological stuff:
Ergo proxy Evangelion Psycho Pass If you're after action: Fate/Zero (many great things about it besides this) Not an anime, technically, but Avatar: The last Airbender and Korra have some of the best action of anything animated. Fullmetal...(again) Feels: Anohana (Highly recommended) Angel Beats (though I think the one above is executed better) Humor/fanservice: Monogatari. That is all. 3140

I'll get back to this and edit this post. The law of Sympathetic Magic, as it's the law of Contagion and Similarity combined in a social situation? I've already spent time researching it, might as well finish the fight. Is it an application of the "Core Disgust" emotion? 3142

Bad sources, and not relating to the topic :\
I can't remember how I got to those pages, or how I failed to realize it related to Wiccan concepts. Well, there's a parallel to this in Wicca apparently. Are we talking about the emotion of "core disgust" on some level? 3144

Someone may be able to see you drinking a glass of your own spit, but your mouth processes are confined to you yourself. The only issue would then be how others perceive you, and not the act of drinking the spit-water itself?Q1: No, that's normal 3145

The Flood / Star Gazing« on: January 16, 2015, 03:02:22 AM »Do you guys have good views from your city or town? What do you contemplate or feel when looking above? Light pollution obscures the vast majority of stars, but I have it better than in a big city. Getting away from the lights is relatively easy, compared to said cities. There's always a sense of longing for greater experience whenever I star gaze. They're personal motivational factors, yet there's also this feeling of futility, like I won't be able to comprehend them all regardless of how much time I spend trying to appreciate them. They have a sort of numinous quality overall. |
