UK - England.
Then how the fuck are you still misusing your and you're as well as using "should of" or "must of"? Are you a chav or something?
Maybe he just doesn't care online?
Èxplain your reasoning please, 'cause I can't come up with anything that still makes him look good
some people just type out things fast and dont check for erros because they don't care. its a thing.
I reached that conclusion before typing my reply.
Then WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM MEEEEEE?

I have my scifi
Been doing more calculations recently to get an idea for mass amd Delta-V of my warships. I'm going for the hard science approacj to SciFi. No space magic bullshit.
Considering you're working with futuristic concepts, how are you explaining the science behind the technology in your universe?
Oddly enough, I had a similar idea behind "arcane forces" in my fantasy universe. I wanted a more scientific way to convey how people utilize energy, just to add more realism to what essentially equates to magic.
by using technology that can be explained with real science. I'm doing calculations to make sure evrrything from a railgun's velocity to the energy output of a certain reactor, then using those figures to estimate masses and such. All the technology I have is stuff that is being researched noe or is at least possible within the realms of real science if not modern technology.
The one exception is FTL travel.
Very nice. Are you using warp-drives for FTL concepts?

I've tried convincing my friends to watch it with me. They won't, and there's no way I'm watching it by myself.

Sep7agon can't handle that kind of traffic, it was never designed to actually be used, it'll be dead in a week.
What do you mean? It's already dead and we're all ghosts, remember?

Yeah, maybe if someone routinely shoved marbles through their urethra.

Step 1.) Study science Step 2.) Continue studying science Step 3.) talk to people about studying science Step 4.) Repeat steps 1-3 until a discovery is made

An aspect of Metroid Prime I really liked was the ability to use information to solve gameplay conflicts, like using scanner information in a battle , knowing the composition of a wall to use the appropriate force to break it, or looking through research logs to get a better idea of the opponents you faced. This was a way of rewarding players who engaged with the information of the world and an immersion tactic which complemented the former well. it was good design because it strengthened core game design and themes.
I see a little bit of this in the mission briefing (they were told they would face mechs, so the player chose an energy-based loadout to more effectively neutralize enemies. Even if it's not as organic as Prime's approach, I think it still retains some of that observant player reward.
Unfortunately, that's really the only thing I liked about seeing the gameplay. It was, to my eyes, a mediocre shooter in the guise of metroid, which is a shame. There was little challenge posed to the team throughout the experience, and despite the variety of objectives they are all standard and uninspired. I was under the impression that the person giving you intel was just shepherding you through the rooms like a tour guide rather than letting players problem-solve, which is far more engaging.
Unless I see improvement, I wouldn't remotely consider a purchase.

I again would like to know if anyone's working on writing currently, whether you're persisting on a project, doing something for school, or anything in between really.
The only thing I'm writing right now is a master plan for my undergraduate degree and emails for professors I'm interested in. It's actually really fun. I really enjoy exploring new ideas and fitting them together into cohesive strategies, apparently.

The easter bunny died for your sins, show some respect.
Well, I had to eat, and it was either him or me. I regret nothing.

Until Cheat makes the function, no. In the meantime consider trying to integrate into an offsite friendship brigade over skype, discord, etc.

The prospect of doing more things which matter to me personally... because I assign value to them (and there's nothing wrong with that). I guess you could say possibility motivates everything I do.
