Because after a while you'll get stuck in a game of Chicken Poker.
And you'll never leave.

It's a play I wrote about B.net, but it applies here.
Only Elegiac really knows what it is.

Are you saying you don't want to poke Tru?
Not really :\
Has he been grumpy to you too much?
N-no, it's just he's more of a chum than a romantic interest...
And blue! ^_^

Polymath
Um...huh?
Someone possessing knowledge on a broad topic spectrum.
Like Leonardo da Vinci.
It doesn't seem as prevalent anymore, and I think it's because labor specialization from the industrial revolution changed our association with learning.
For the worse, as it exists.

If so, what are your range of interests, and how are you going about learning them?

I've been focusing on my interests that allow me to save time in one way or another: literature and writing, Biology (Molecular biology mostly, but physics applies to my writing), meta cognition, and I'm uncertain what dream research would be considered, but neuroscience/psychology to some extent.
My other interests outside of this include coding and programming, engineering, sketching/drawing, martial arts, etc.

Recently I've designed a way to structure idealized curriculum for myself.

1.) Take mental goals or desired abilities and dissect them down to their core abstractions
2.) Localize abstraction to an area of the brain (Where is it in the brain, this gives visual representation for associative mapping of multiple cognitive regions)
3.) Research stimulation of respective brain area (how does it function in mental process)
4.) Build curriculum stimulating these areas

This method directly relates to increasing cognitive efficacy and association between differing brain areas.
It's about developing how to think before tasks as opposed developing thought arising from task completion. The latter happens regardless, the former offers more room for growth.

Sounds like an interesting childhood. And what the hell is a tublord?

Tubby, as in fat?
In more than the physical sense of the word, but yes.

"Edgy" incoming
Spoiler
From an early age I learned to distrust people and family, so I'm reclusive. For instance, my father was a misogynistic tub-lord and manipulated everyone around him to serve his needs. He's a clever man, but his influence altered my development. I learned about sex at an early age and I'll just say it ultimately made me renounce romantic relations. Moreover, the things you learn by having an occultist dad and Wiccan mother make it more difficult to make friends. Add sex in the mix and eccentricity about dinosaurs (I wrote research papers before I knew what they were) and you've got social ostracism. I not only learned to distrust and loathe other people, but this would also subvert academic goals. In a way, I've felt ignored for a large part of my life, invisible and useless.

But I'm always adapting. I'm alright with being solitary because these conditions forced me to develop ideals from an early age. Negative thought associations gave rise to discursive modes of thinking, and I've retained a sense of spirit in persevering.
In summation I've suffered for it, but my vision and purpose have benefited greatly from suffering.

I'd happily accept candy and sex
Too bad it will never be offered.

The mattress might offer sex, though.
Inanimate objects can't consent to sex.

However, they can't say no ether.
Neither can corpses.
It's good to see we're on the same page.

There's nothing quite like cracking open a cold one.

Baemax is in agreement as well
