My room needs more wall stuff, like posters of certain webcomics that shall not be mentioned, but are blatantly implied.
I'd also appreciate a larger collection of microbiological texts, a pipetteman, tips, gloves, fridges for storage, chemicals of varying composition, different electrical parts and power tools, and a secret room for all of this.
Plz santa?

Ah, I got a few posters I want to put on my wall, but my parents will get mad at me if I took down the crucifix and guardian angel things..
Reminds me of my dad a little. There were these big quartz stones he put out in our yard and one day I found them all and removed them (which was weird because they were buried). They were like... guardian stones or something.
Regardless, he was really, really pissed.
I like upside down crucifixes, they look like swords. Engarde! But I imagine that wouldn't go over well if you did it...

that 100% crit rate when used with a persian in gen i, though
lol fucking what?
crits are based off of how fast you are in gen i
and persian is the fastest user of slash (a move with an already high crit chance) in the game
This was like another level of abstracted nerdiness.
And I think that's pretty cool.

Dark Souls is not particularly difficult or fun.
You know, I like the Souls games, but I can see why people say both of these things between the learning curve, waiting for attacks of opportunity, shielding and dodging methodology for avoiding damage, farming for upgrades (which I personally don't like). I want to try Bloodborne because they abandon shields and try to make it more fast-paced and risk-reward.

The thing I really appreciate about the Souls games are things I also appreciate an older game (Metroid Prime) for, a nostalgic sort of atmosphere and a story for anyone curious enough to piece it together. Metroid Prime did a better job of incorporating its lore into gameplay though, I think.

Dark Souls was also a game where you were a pawn of larger forces and your place in the story was arbitrary, something I strongly relate to irl, so Scholar of the First Sin's ending was even more satisfying for someone like me.
I like the sense that your actions are futile and the causality of trying again at the expense of failure eats away at your sanity.

I like Majora's mask the most (with Wind Waker as a 2nd) of all Zelda games.
I just can't get into Mass Effect.

Social and existential norms are arbitrary and limiting.
Family doesn't matter, individuals do.
Procreation, as people usually use it, is used for the wrong reasons and mostly selfish in nature.
Educational systems are deficient for the majority (to my standards).
Life has no intrinsic value but what individuals self designate (which is fine).
And so many more.

The Flood / Re: That Sep7 User You Want to Know More About

Well, as I understand it, it's the replacement of traditionally Aristotelian premises involving "is" with "appears to be" or "probably" to remove certainty from logic. Which is fucking ridiculous, because anybody using logic in synthetic propositions should be shot.
This remains one of the problems about people using A logic trying to explain non-A logic. That article does a proper disservice to Korzybski himself.
I'm no authority on non-A semantics because I'm learning it myself, but multiordinal phrases for things which are highly important in context to their specific situation can always be discussed in a manner where an "answer" can be found and some meaning can be derived for functional purposes.
Rather than "removing certainty from logic," non-A semantics looks at the way we use verbal structures devised off of scientific and existential premises during Aristotle's time and modifies it with both from the 1930s. It uses mathematical concepts (because they relate phenomena in simplest terms verbally) what we know about situations, what we don't, and what can be derived.
That's a very rough and facile explanation, but it's worth looking into.
It's not that bad, honestly.

what political and existential things you might find arbitrary and unnecessary
I don't really understand the question.
To what extent are human ideas of existential factors arbitrary and unnecessary, and what does it mean for individuals in this age?
For example, the conceptualization of self, social systems and groups, aspiration at the expense of "happiness," what happiness "is."

All of these questions are things I'd ask Verb, additionally.

Why are people saying Verb?

The guy's an open fucking book.
This answer works for both of you (in my experience), both of you are really interesting, but intimidating? Like, I wouldn't know if I was wasting your time with my questions.
I'm also the sort of person who has been consistently invalidated on anything "intellectual" throughout my life, so I'm pretty closeted on this stuff normally.

What do you want to know?
I'm curious about a lot, but for starters stuff about the development of your current knowledge base, what political and existential things you might find arbitrary and unnecessary, if you're familiar with non-Aristotelian semantics, where you think this race is going socially with advancing technology, etc.

I'll get us some snacks, okay?

Why are you talking to me?

Mostly to bother you.
Any reason? There are far more suitable candidates.
Because I can see you being a fun person to relate to on media.
So I guess I'm trying to convert you?
Well now this just seems obnoxious.

I already like anime, not as much as comics or Amerishit, but I still like it.
Oh, that's right. I've seen you in LC's movie nights.
Now this seems even more obnoxious.

Favorite one?

I don't mean in a sexual sense, but more like a personality or life story sense.
Be as specific as you want.

oss reminds me of the personality I want to exhibit irl, and his personality just interests me.
Desty because I see him as someone I could modify my verbal structures with (and it would probably be fun).
Meta and Verb for complicated personal reasons

I'm always interested in learning about my forum chums (essentially the weebs and animals), but the users above have information directly applicable to myself. I'm a pretty self absorbed person, so I'm primarily concerned with my functioning first and foremost.

So...

Are you still posting from inside the closet?
Oh no, they both smoke and after the coitus they went outside. I Roose bolted the fuck outta there.
I had a nice mountain walk and reflected on the facile nature of my personality and interests. It was rather depressing, actually.

Im so sorry to hear. Maybe on day you will look back on this situation and block from your memory.
Already blocked the coitus din from mind, it's going down to the lowest pits or Erebus.
My actions essentially being a sham are a good thing to realize, this means I can modify myself.
It's a win in my book.
