It's spring here, but the weather still thinks it's winter
cold cloudy and rainy
I love that type of weather. Even better if it's misty.
Spooooky
It is nice though, but every once in a while it I do like to be reminded the sun exists
True. I love just looking into a clear sky and seeing planes flying overhead.

So before my hiatus I shared the little gem of information that my sister had acquired a new boyfriend hours after her breakup with the one prior. Well, he's homeless, and he's been living with us ever since. He has really weird opinions. I've heard remarks that "There's a reason the Europeans thought they [Asians] were devils," name a "New Age" belief and I can confirm that he believes it. I can't name all the times he makes up things in the moment and then instantly believes them. This is one of the weirdest things I've ever encountered about someone.
When I was a kid there was someone weirder. Let's call him "Mark" (like the ones you say hi to). Mark worked for my dad and was with my dad's side of the family for a few years, during which I had no idea what Mark actually did with him. Then one day I remember playing at a local park after dark and Mark was there crying and babbling about his hands. Later I came to hear that my dad either intended to or did cut off his fingers. After a while Mark just disappeared. I still don't know what he did with my dad or where he went. It's always eerie thinking about it.

Tru can I come over to your island for cuddles?
You might have to drown the competition while you're swimming.

Normally, yes. But not the way I use it.

For some reason I just didn't like it and I didn't think it was funny. I think my sense of humor is slowly dying as I get older.
I bet you didn't like The Naked Gun and Top Secret either, skrub.
Didn't like what now? I haven't seen either of those... But they sound on a similar level of parody as SB.

Dino Crisis 3 deserves a maximum of 0% but reviewers gave it positive integer scores
I looked it up, couldn't get past the intro cinematic.
Dunno what you're talking about, looked like a masterpiece to me
In a similar sense to how someone might consider Spaceballs a masterpiece.
Hey come on man, Spaceballs was pretty funny.

I-I like hot chocolate with honey in it, who's side am I on?
...How creamy? Color-wise you've gone rogue. That's sedition, mate.
Cream? you don't need cream, just milk, chocolate powder, and hot water. Surely this isn't a radical opinion, right?, right?
I mean how creamy is the milk, are we talking whole master race, 2% working class, or skim untouchables? Wait wait milk and water? That's just weird.
1.5%...I swear I'm a good person! the water prevents the milk from getting a skin, surely no side likes that stuff.
I have never in my life heard of 1.5% milk. The only logical explanation suggests you must be from another planet. I usually don't notice skin if it forms (and I stir the milk constantly to avoid it). If there is skin I either remove it or it seems to melt back into the hot milk... like a woman disrobing her rice paper gown in a hot spring as the soft effusive moonlight kisses her volupt.

I stopped trusting published reviews many, many years ago. Now I just use sites like IGN and Gamespot for gaming news rather than reviews.
Do you remember which one was the main influence in stopping that trust? I'm not as invested in gaming as I once was, and I've never really followed gaming news.

Fable III Xbox 360 Metacritic score (critic): 80 Game Informer: 90 IGN: 85
The user reviews were much more in line with my reception of it (6.5). The only part of that game I liked was the curveball second part of the game, but they even managed to mess that up. And then I knew... even polemic shows like Zeropunctuation can be more accurate than "general consensus."

oh god please stop
But Rocket, at least he's being honest about it. Plenty of people think this way, but most of them don't like admitting it. Jive seems pretty honest overall.

I dunno what the DLC is. I'm playing the GOTY edition, so I guess I have it all.
They're: Broken Steel Operation Anchorage The Pit Point Lookout Mothership Zeta

You know how I had a progress bar for my Half-Life 2 and Halo threads?
Would there be a way for me to do that with this game as well?...
I could do it by main quests, but maybe there's too many. I'd have to know the exact number.
What parts of the game are you anticipating completing? Are you playing the dlc too?

For some reason I like the idea of an open world exploring/traveling 2d game. Toss in rpg and leveling elements. NPC Co-op pals maybe. Base building.
Basically, I'm just saying I'd love Dark Souls if it were a 2d open world side scroller.
Terraria is like that, minus rpg elements and with pals instead of npcs.

Relevant in a very tangential way... Okay maybe it's not so relevant but I'm posting it anyway. Gotta kill time before the next update.
