To stay on topic, I'm still curious as to what lies in here: https://sep7agon.net/dumpster
Its the only entertaining board left on this site.

Probably would've been accessible to everyone if Destiny didn't turn out to be a flaming pile of shit. I mean, the "/dumpster" kind of implies that.

I totally forgot about the Halo TV series. Glad to see it was never cancelled or anything.

I don't have anything planned. Other than what I already do daily I'll probably just visit the beach a few times and that's it.

Watched a video on Article 13.
So memes are the only thing that's a threat? Welp, if that passes guess Chally's meme thread is done.
This is still fucking retarded, but what the fuck can I do? Aside from saying fuck the EU.
That's all you can do. And I agree, fuck the EU for this.

From Bungie's "This Week At Bungie": The Old Gods
There are some relics of a different time still being hosted on our servers. Next week, we're retiring a few legacy services from the Halo era and consolidating others. Resident Archivist Roger Wolfson will explain what's changing and how it may affect you.
Roger: We're doing some (once a decade) spring cleaning on the halo.bungie.net site. First off, it's time to retire those old, read-only forums. If you have some archived threads bookmarked that you like to revisit for nostalgia purposes, please take some screenshots before we say goodbye to those forums.
Do you remember Bungie Pro Video? We said back in 2008 that we'd keep your renders available to download for a couple months. Ten years later, we're getting around to cleaning them up, so grab anything you want to keep around in the next week. Finally, the "details" views of old Halo matches will be trimmed down to just the line-item scores; your career pages will still have your overall medals chest, but individual games won't.
These changes go into effect on June 28 at 10 a.m. PDT. If you need to save anything, get it done before then. https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/46965

The European Parliament will vote Wednesday on legislation that some argue could change the internet as we know it. The proposed law, Article 13, would require large platforms like Facebook and Reddit to scan content before it's posted online and take down material they think could be stolen. That means memes, which often use pictures that are subject to copyright, could be targeted, the Independent reports.
In an open letter to the president of the European Parliament, tech experts and prominent figures -- including World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales -- said Article 13 presented an "imminent threat" to the future of the internet.
"By requiring Internet platforms to perform automatic filtering all of the content that their users upload, Article 13 takes an unprecedented step towards the transformation of the Internet from an open platform for sharing and innovation, into a tool for the automated surveillance and control of its users," the letter states.
Authors of the letter also wrote that they doubt the legality of Article 13, saying it goes against the European Charter of Fundamental Rights. David Kaye, a UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression also published a letter online, which outlined his concern that Article 13 would lead to censorship. A spokesperson for the European Parliament didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. https://www.cnet.com/news/eus-proposed-article-13-could-threaten-the-internet-memes/I've been hearing about this all day. Thoughts?

Pick 2033 up first. LL is a sequel to it.
Play 2033 first. And try not to be too put off by shitty checkpoints on the surface levels...
Thanks for letting me know, I always prefer to start a series from the beginning.

Did you play 2033? Either way both games are very good.
No this is my first Metro game. If I like Last Light I'm sure I'll pick up 2033 too.

For those who have played it already, what is your opinion the game? Saw a few gameplay videos and decided to buy it for $5 from the Xbox store. I'm a huge fan of post-apocalyptic games.

Been working a lot of hours recently so I needed a much needed break. Went to the beach today to get away from everything for a bit. There's a place where you can park your car and get a nice view of the ocean and nearby landscape. Stayed there for a few hours just taking in the weather and views, felt like forever since I was just able to sit back and relax and forget about everything.
Sounds very relaxing. If I wanted to get away from everything for a bit the beach is the place I would probably go to as well.
