Why am I so disturbed by the fact that you said "laughing out loud" and not "Laughing my ass off"?

The world has so many more important things to protest about, but they want to protest about a statue. GG

« on: January 13, 2016, 09:02:53 AM »
It's not like we can do anything useful in the long run anyways. Humans are gonna nuke themselves soon enough and we're all gonna be dead. I can't see humanity reaching the point of intergalactic space travel.

Waframe and planetside 2, although they are both on pc as well
Warframe is also on the xbox one.

Never mind then

Can nothing ever truly exist? On a scientific level this is a gray area. Between atomic particles themselves there is "empty space", but photons are also constantly going in between the particles. This can either be a philosophical or scientific debate.

Serious / Why do people treat the constitution like a holy scripture?
« on: January 07, 2016, 08:50:22 AM »
Many people don't accept any new amendments onto the constitution even though it's been changed in the past, and should by all means be changed in the future.

Serious / Re: New ISIS video, and apparently new Jihadi John
« on: January 06, 2016, 06:17:26 PM »
Obviously a new person would take Jihadi John's place. It's not like they're a disorganized group that can't replace it's leadership.

Because people aren't very aware of what's happening in places of the world that don't have to do with their home country, and said country's allies.

Huh?

Russians also don't have Freedom of the press (hence Putin somehow having like 87% approval rating. It's not true). I dunno why I said religion though. I knew they didn't get oppressed in that.

Huh, I guess you're right then. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

How is Russia a dictatorship in anyway?

I know this doesn't have any relevance to the article, but I'm kinda curious as to why the author wrote that.
Autocratic government (same thing really). Putin is the leader, elections are rigged, no freedom of speech/religion, been in power in some form since the turn of the millennium, etc.

1:The Russian Constitution provides freedom of religion
2:Putin being the leader means nothing
3:There is as much proof of Russian Elections being rigged as there is for most other first world countries
4:The freedom of speech thing is a large issue, I'll give you that

Serious / Re: Why do we need political correctness?
« on: December 10, 2015, 10:41:53 AM »
Political Correctness is fine if we draw the line at being respectful and not insulting people for no reason. It can't go over that without becoming censorship.

Serious / Re: What are some things worth protesting about?

Civil liberties.
Human rights.
My Little Pony toys being considered part of the girls-only Happy Meals at McDonald's while they're clearly for men as well.
Institutionalised issues in criminal justice and law enforcement.
Unjust laws and politics.

Mah perdy poonies whyyyyyyy

I dont see what's wrong with Call Of Duty, it's a casual arena shooter/horde mode game and it doesn't really try to do anything other than that.

Normaly nothing is wring with that, but Blops 3 turned into a shitty head glitch simulator.

well that sucks, I guess

Serious / Re: So did America basically arm ISIS?
« on: December 03, 2015, 05:49:46 PM »
No? No one has directly armed ISIS, most of what they have is acquired when they take ground from opposition.

Didn't Russia reveal that America helped? I'm probably on about something completely different
Lol that'd be rich coming from the Russians considering that they've mostly only bombed rebels and not ISIS. But yeah the US hasn't supported ISIS, publicly anyway. They may have done behind closed who knows.

They only bomb the religious extremists, it just so happens that the Americans only use crazy people to get rid of crazy people.
