This game needs some sort of objective other than exploration. Random events like your ship crashing and you having to find a way to repair it could work. Also have missions given by people in the large carrier ships. Also some sort of progression system could be cool, but rather than just being a bar filling up it could be changes to your ship based on how you play.

there is a loose objective of trying to get to the center of the universe, where something/reward is waiting for you, the main purpose of going to other planets is to search for resources to upgrade your suit, weapon, and ship and different ship classes have been confirmed. the devs have also stated that these upgrades wouldn't be very generic as they are personalized for certain play styles. Your ship can crash as well if you're dumb enough, and all you'd have left is your life pod until you could rebuild.

the devs have also described a "malevolent force" in the game so there should be some interaction with whatever it is.

all in all if the game can keep a loose but rewarding/interesting purpose as well as interesting player interaction, it will be one hell of a ride.

Their lives were in danger the minute they decided to block off the road. Imagine if a driver had no idea the protesters were there and casually sped along...
That is not even an argument. In order for the driver to not know that a ton of people were standing in the road, as you are stating in your scenario, they would have to be paying attention to everything else but the road. The driver would still be at fault in that case. If there is a pedestrian in the street, or multiple as in this case, those who are operating vehicles stop. It does not matter if they are blocking the street, nothing justifies running them over. Call the police, let them handle things, and if you cannot wait, find an alternate route.

I'm not trying to argue here, all I'm saying is that the protesters put themselves at a higher risk of danger by standing in the middle of the street. They shouldn't be an obstruction to traffic. The sidewalk works just as well

That guy is a fucking idiot. There is literally nowhere he needs to be in such a hurry that it justifies running people over with your car.

Honestly the protesters are being pretty unreasonable you can't just block off the whole road
Running somebody over with your car is a lot more unreasonable than blocking a road. His life was not in danger, none of them started hitting the car until he began plowing through them, because at that point, their lives were in danger.

Their lives were in danger the minute they decided to block off the road. Imagine if a driver had no idea the protesters were there and casually sped along...

Although I wouldn't of done what that guy did, it's pretty foreseeable

Her policy on education would discourage essentially everyone from approaching definitive answers to universal queries; essentially her thought process is the antithesis of scientific goals. She also doesn't seem to understand that public exhibits are for the general public and are unspecific to pique interest, not offer a time consuming full explanation. If she wants more information, she's more than welcome to research these things herself and make better informed opinions.
The one good quality I'd say she has here is questioning instead of accepting everything at face value. Deities know we could use more questioning in society. The way she does it, I think, is immature and frankly makes her look foolish.

I'm at halftime currently

the glaring problem is that she's not undecided.....

PS4 exclusive, I cry erytiem.

Also the only thing I'm confused about is how do you know where the cool stuff is. Like how did that guy find the landing pad on the snow planet? Drifting around planets, while stunning, would get boring with no objective or rewards to collect and share.

Still, do want!

well, apparently there is kind of an infrastructure to the game, the devs have described shipping lanes where cargo ships collect and communication with players you can't find. I'm assuming they'll be labeled on the star map thing

either way this game is as expansive as my post chuck e cheese shits

That's awesome

ayup, from the recent trailers as info i'm almost certain this won't turn into some glorified tech demo.
