Stop.
Just stop typing brand names like that.

It's not witty, it's not funny. It's retarded.
It has long become a gimmick of yours. And you know, all gimmicks are shit.

What was it?
Look at the thread title.

The stuff we all have called him out on before; pisspoor, 3fail3, and also this. I am just fed up with it.

Oh I thought he was calling everyone gay hoes

It took me a solid minute to figure out what he was trying to say
This is also a problem about that.

Like I said, I'll tear it apart later.
Also, this sounds very arrogant, but it may just be the wording you used.

Anyway, we may never see eye to eye on it, but Flee brought up a good point when he said "You may not like it, but that doesn't make it objectively bad game design."
Yeah, it's not like everybody else has made this point to Verbatim before.

The Flee dick riding in this forum is insane.

Holy fuck. Was like every charterer in this game made with minimal effort in the same character creator?
They literally just slapped a beard and mustache on the default male
Bethesda loves using their character creator to make characters instead of actually designing them
It wouldn't be that much of a problem if they'd put some effort in it like the people who make replicas of Walter White or John Cena.

VR is one of the most important and most underrated developments in... I'd say human history.
I wouldn't say it's underrated, taking the initial kickstarter of the OR as an example - for now it's just rather difficult to access, requiring high end hardware and costing a lot (600$ for the Oculus Rift). Obviously most consumers don't see the point in spending this much money into it and respond negatively.

Hey Verb, do you consider location names spoilers too?
People already talked about 'Sen's Funhouse' and by now if you read those posts you already know that there is >some< obnoxious gimmick about it.

I don't know why most FF games have to invent some random words for races but make all look like humans with some distinctive feature like horns or tails.

Just call them by what they are; dragon/cat/midget people.

Turn-based RPG would be pretty in-scope, but I think I'd be wasting a lot of time writing all the different game states and stuff.  What if I just took the isometric overworld and made the combat real-time?  I could also work with the hunger games theme, but I didn't really follow that meme when it was going on.
Isometric roguelike hunger game action-rpg with Sep7agoons?

Yes please.

Or you could just......play the game offline, play as a human
I didn't know this was an option. I thought playing offline and going Hollow were one in the same.

So what's the point of going Hollow if you can just go offline to avoid player invasions?
Literally none. While offline you get all the benefits of being human (except for being able to read player messages or summon other friendly online players to your own world - but that's obvious)

No lies.

I honestly thought people would have brought up that point in these countless debates you've had.

I want to answer lore questions.

I like dark souls lore and I don't have people to talk to about it which makes me sad.
I am here to talk about Dark Souls lore if you want.
And I'll start it of with a question I kina want to hear other people's opinion on.

Spoiler
Do you think Quelaag and the fair lady turned into spider demons as a side effect of the decision of our sickly white princess deciding to help the infected people or as a result of the great witchmother's experimentation to revive the age of fire?

I believe the latter since I also assume that the smaller maggots besides the bed of chaos are transformed witches, like the witchmother herself.
Now if some of the witches transformed into maggots it doesn't seem far off that Quelaag and the fair lady somehow got transformed into spider demons, while a few others like Quelana remained untransformed.
Another reason that leads me to believe that the spider transformation cannot be caused by helping the egg carriers is that it is explicitly stated that the fair lady has sucked the poison out of the carriers against the advice of Quelaag what caused the fair lady to become pale and sick. Meanwhile Quelaag guards the lair and kills healthy undead to harvest humanity to cure her sister.

It seems pretty concrete to me that the spider transformation was caused by the witchmothers tsmpering with the life soul.
What's your take?
I am typing this on mobile do excuse any mistakes - can be autocorrect or butterfingers or both.

Too bad you'll get annoyed by some characters/phrases because of their meme status - fortunately enough only few memetic aspects of the game truly went viral, like the aforementioned phrase 'praise the sun'.

Turn-based RPG with action elements like in SP: The Stick of Truth.

This way you can easily integrate any user, create a thememed encounters and skills. Only barebones animation is required.
Minimum effort - maximum payout.

Maybe you can even combine it with Fedorekd's idea and theme it around the hungr games.

VR only really looks nice and works well with high resolution and good fps - otherwise one quickly gets motion sick.
Not that many people actually have the high end hardware needed to achieve that.
And those who already own the hardware probably aren't really interested in what the OR offers software-wise.

It's really not suited for extensive consumer use as of now.
