The Flood / Re: Ham or chicken
« on: January 28, 2016, 03:39:17 AM »
but chickens don't have periods
they're essentially eggs because they're actually eggs
Compared to the functions of a human they are
>periods and the laying of eggs happen regardless until a certain age is reached
>women and chicken are fertile until this certain age is reached
>offspring is only contained in a fertilised egg

Chicken works with just about anything fam, and if you're not in the mood for it, just abort their children and have an omelette.
Unfertilised eggs essentially are the period of a chicken not their fetus.

Dragon's Dogma is the most memeless game I've seen in recent times.

We should probably stick to just general advice. These are kind of downright spoilers and a step-by-step walkthrough on how to get to something he would've just found if he paid more attention when backtracking a little. Not sure how Verb feels about this (and it is his call), but this kind of stuff would take away from the experience for me. Unless it's something incredibly obscure or he explicitly asks for it, I feel we should never give him a play-by-play on how to obtain certain items or get through some parts of the game. I feel that a "you missed something in the Burg, try walking back and looking around more attentively" would've been more than enough. Full on directions and a picture for reference goes very far, imo.
Tbh, I was the only one who was at least kind of considerate with giving advcse

Oh ya speak of the devil, special attacks.

That's why they added durability. There are some exceptionally hard hitting weapons in that game. The game would play itself for you if you could spam those specials to your heart's content.
You can always tell who reads walkthroughs like a casul if you happen to get summoned past the taurus demon.

617
i don't even care

Am I wrong in thinking that having a durability system in this of all games is fucking retarded?
There are weapons which have pretty damn strong special attacks that take a good chunk of durability - if spammed it makes the whole thing useless because it breaks.

Also teaches you not to get overly reliant to a single weapon as it forces you to change it up.

I actually like the durability system. Far more than the checkpooint based system in Dark Souls 2.

I honestly can't tell if this is serious, something that's supposed to convey that the game is bad or just a post for the sake of it...
my mother likes horror games
Huh.

Didn't know that. Interesting to hear that someone's favourite horror game isn't Silent Hill 2, assuming she did play it.

My local spanish restaurant he says.
Cus everyone has a local spanish restaurant nearby, obviously.

I too, enjoy walking for 173 miles to reach my local spanish restaurant nearby in the closest city.
A casual, easy to get to, 3 day long stroll.

Literally a stroll through my backyard.
You must have a small backyard.

Tis quite a small lot. Just across the road from my favorite spanish restaurant. It's highly convenient as I love eating there all the time. And if I'm feeling lazy, delivery times are quite fast.
You are lucky.

I takes me a week to reach my local Spanish restaurant™ with the car and they don't deliver. It's only a mild incovenience though - and their flans are really worth the moderate amount of time it takes to get there.
