I've had zero connection issues, odd. Apparently not being able to connect on a campus is wide spread though.

Gaming / What's the most difficult part about playing Destiny?« on: September 12, 2014, 12:39:11 PM »
Like I have said before, Bungie held back for this game. It's a building block for future games and DLC. Really stupid but from a business point I get it.
Anyone who says there isn't potential and the environment isn't gorgeous is kidding themselves though. It's just lacking meat. Also faction/crucible/cryptarch/whatever rep is a grind fest. 3247
Gaming / Re: So I played Destiny.« on: September 12, 2014, 12:36:27 PM »
I like it, it's not 5/10. Maybe 6/10 lowest. 8.5/10 max though.

Download space engineers.
Problem solved. 3252
Serious / Re: Imperialism: Good or bad?« on: September 11, 2014, 01:07:45 PM »
Depends. Westward expansion and the English colonization screwed the natives and sucked.
In History class the Imperialism Unit focused on the Spanish-American war, which I didn't think was that bad. 3253

Thin. I am spoiled, living in NJ and NY being so close.
Best pizza you'll ever eat, best bread really. Also diners. No Chicago deep dish for me. 3259

Gaming / Re: Destiny made up to $500 million in sales apparently« on: September 11, 2014, 07:10:45 AM »
I have a feeling Bungie never planned the first Destiny to be perfect, I think they are going all out on the second game/expansions. Which sucks.

Gaming / Re: Is the Kinect really necessary with XB1?« on: September 11, 2014, 07:08:45 AM »
Yes and no. Xbox is actually being cool with their updates so the menus and such get better and better, but kinect is actually nice. If you aren't in a very noisy area I'd recommend it.
Plus supporting voice and motion recognition is good for the future. 3263

Gaming / lol Bungie fucked up with Marty« on: September 09, 2014, 08:23:09 PM »
First thoughts when I heard the Destiny music. The game environment and music, surprisingly, is better than the beta (thought there would be no change). Little details here and there.
The biggest one, music. lolBungie. I'm wasn't one of those #cutformarty fanboys at first but this is just sad. 3267
Gaming / Re: *shrieks* I GOT MUH GHOST EDITION! (Late-night review)« on: September 09, 2014, 08:19:30 PM »
Two UPS trucks later, Ghost is here. No damage, and I think it's very cool. Only for the people who loved the beta though, non-physical item collectors will hate it. Especially since you can get all the digital exclusives much cheaper.

Gaming / Re: Desticle tears« on: September 09, 2014, 08:17:51 PM »
Mock people who bought Ghost Editions all you want, but I love mine. The ghost is actually very cool.
But yeah: 1.) It's not for everyone. 2.) Fuck Amazon. They said shipped 8pm latest, not 8pm. I had two different UPS trucks come, why couldn't Amazon pay to get it on the first one that was 5 hours earlier? 3269

But yeah glad I got this place to post in, lol. 3270
