Serious / Re: Something I need to get off my chest
« on: December 01, 2014, 02:51:22 PM »
I hate to be that guy but I remember a thread on b.net where I was defending LGBT rights and you liked all my posts in it so from then onwards I assume you may have been gay. A silly assumption to make but yeahh.....

Either way I'm glad you have 'come out', being open about your feelings really does help as a person to feel better.
that's how i guessed lol

Yeahh, he did it for me too >.>

Lol, faggot.

No, just kidding. To be honest, man, I know it's good to take the weight off, but it isn't a big deal. Just be who you are, and don't feel the need to tiptoe excessively around other people. Some may treat you differently, but depending on the people you know and where you're from - it's your call, in the end, but you should trust those closest to you.

Essentially - it's not a big deal. And while discretion is a good virtue, don't let it make you anxious or worrisome.
Thanks for the advice.

It's unlike me to make a such a serious post, but I can't bear to keep this a secret any longer. I haven't told anyone except RC that I'm gay, and that's bothering me. Truth is, I'm not very open about it. In real life, I'm only out to about three people.

For some reason, I have this concern that everyone's going to think of me differently, or treat me differently. I don't want any of that, which is part of the reason why I've been afraid to come out to anyone else, either in real life or on Sep7agon.

I'm not really sure what the purpose of this thread is other than to come out of my shell a bit and see how everyone reacts, or if anyone even cares. RC and a few other people have told me I should loosen up a bit, and I guess they must be right >.>

I'm not really sure what else to say now >.> Just go ahead and comment or AMA me anything. Mods can move this to Flood if necessary, but I posted this in Serious for a reason.

This is quite a clever ruse of getting everyone to tell us their first names.

It's a shit ruse when most have us have already said ours.
I'm still new here! I didn't know ;_;

What do they mean by increasing max Player count? WHAT DO THEY MEAN!

THE NUMBERS MASON
Have you seen the trailer? Looks like multiplayer and PVP sessions are no longer limited to a max of 4 players. A certain scene shows a host, three summons and two invaders.

3 summons? That's gunna make some bosses easy mode
As if they aren't already with 2 summons >.>

Considering the leak turned out to be spot-on, I'm willing to believe anything at this point, as foolish as that may be.

After reading the article about the leak, I'm still skeptical. The info was nothing that couldn't be derived from concept art and cast information.
Yeah, but concept art of a major reveal like the villain doesn't just show up before the official trailer.

Someone told me they basically fucked up Revan's plot line though.

If it is Revan I'm hyped (though it makes no sense)
Considering the leak turned out to be spot-on, I'm willing to believe anything at this point, as foolish as that may be.

From concept art the Sith's name is 'The Graverobber', so it's possible he's not actually a Sith but a dark-side user or collector of artifacts that sought out powerful weapons and tools, with Revan's saber potentially being on the list.
I've heard of a theory like that being floated around. I would actually like something like that.

My only complaints about Reach are reticule bloom and the melee/shield mechanics.

Anything outside the films and clone wars & rebels tv shows aren't canon.

Anyway I heard the EU canon was shit anyway so I'm glad they got rid of it.
I heard it was a mess of coninuity errors and people had to pick and choose what they saw as canon.
Kind of, yeah. There was the time when the shuttle Tydirium was stolen, then recovered by the Empire, then stolen again by the Rebels. When Luke and the gang use it to get past a Star Destroyer, the officer is alarmed by the older clearance code, as opposed to the fact that it's been stolen twice.

I'm hoping that it means what you say it means, ESO broke the canon in so many ways :(

Serious / Re: Libertarians are insufferable
« on: November 29, 2014, 04:47:31 PM »
It seems like the loudest libertarians tend to be closet Republicans who don't want to be associated with the GOP, or otherwise people who basically got kicked out of the GOP for allegedly being RINOs. To qualify for the latter, one can still be pretty goddamn conservative.

The connotation sucks. Can't be taken seriously as a slightly libertarian-leaning liberal, so I just avoid the word entirely.

My pro commander is so beautiful and feels fantastic ;-;
Yeah about that, how does it feel? It looks great, I'm considering getting that same one.
It feels so soft <3
How do the buttons feel? Control sticks? Does anything stick? Anything press too easily or not easily enough?
I like the feel of the buttons mostly since I like the fact that they feel like they're supposed to be pressed firmly, Nope haven't seen anything stick, and the control sticks feel like an Xbox one to mei, one of the things that felt weird dough are the triggers they feel springy but I got used to them the only thing also the RT and LT is also pretty nice but may not be likeable for casuls
I don know if you want to take the risk or not that's your choice look up reviews for yourself since some of them have a problem with charging I still love it dough i want to get a FPS game see how it feels oh a negative thing dough I've noticed the controller sticks can sometimes do sometimes the left right up down light hits but it's usually smash attacks
Ok, thanks.
