There aren't an overwhelming number of Democratic leaders who are anti-Israel, anti-America, anti-religion. You can't win if you aren't a Christian in the US. I doubt I'll see a Jewish or Muslim president in my lifetime, much less an atheist. I don't know a single politician who is anti-America...
Oh, I know, I'm just saying you can always list an series of problems with a platform or a party, but it's integrity is always suspect. People in the GOP are trying to fight the things you've listed, which is one of the reasons I like Rubio.

However, depending on who you're talking to, the negatives of the party may be outweighed by the negatives of the other party. I'm not at all saying your list is non-applicable, or that mine is more applicable, merely the problems you list might be inconsequential by the time of an election.
Rubio's only issue was immigration. That's it. His presidential aspirations are DOA. You're better off liking someone like Rand Paul if you don't want to be perpetually disappointed.

If you don't like it, don't use it.
Or we can just not have it in the first place. This is not an anime forum.
Or you can just not use it.

Who gave you the authority to (arbitrarily) decide what this forum is or is not?
lol
That answer is non-canon.

Read that again and tell me what ya think ;)
Um. Okay. My thoughts remain the same.

It's not gonna change anything with regard to the anime spam. Keeping bronies and furries out, too? Now, why the fuck would you even THINK that it would do that?
For fucks fuxking sake. Apparently community opinion means nothing now anymore. Good job guys, well done listening to what people thought. I'm starting to understand why people think the mod selection here is fucking terrible.

I'm pretty sure anarchy gets more people anyway.
Right, exactly. If they had just made the anime board out of the blue without asking us, I'd have been like, "Well, this is kinda bullshit, but it's their site, so... whatever."

But the fact that they gave us the illusion of choice?... That's just insulting.
If you don't like it, don't use it.

I think the game very clearly crossed the line of what's acceptable to put in a game. Something in the vein of Manhunt or Super Columbine Massacre RPG. It would be an extremely poor business decision on Valve's part to sell the game on Steam.
But Manhunt is on Steam.
Yeah, I don't know ._.

Maybe because the media hasn't cared about Manhunt in years...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"Censorship"

There is nothing in the definition of censorship that suggest it only applies to govts.
Steam is censoring it from their software. They have that right. I'm not debating that. I'm debating whether its the right thing to do.

Then why do they allow Postal?
How is murdering fake digital civilians in Hatred different than murdering fake digital civilians in GTA?

Should Valve be deciding what that line is for everyone or can people who don't like the game just not buy it?
Valve is not a government authority. If they don't want to sell something, there is nothing stopping you from buying it from a different source.
Where did I say otherwise?
Am I being argumentative? I'm sorry about that >.>

But the statement:

Seems to imply that if Steam doesn't sell it, no one is allowed to buy it. It's giving Valve more authority than they have as a business.
Probably should have phrased that better.
Should Valve be deciding what that line is for their customers (as the largest outlet for PC gaming).
What's wrong with people who don't like the game not buying it?
I don't think it's 'deciding what that line is for their customers' so much as 'what's better for their public image?'

This is a game that's inevitably going to be talked about on 24/7 news channels and the like complaining about the alleged 'evils' of video games. Valve (wisely) doesn't want Steam to be part of that discussion.

I'm not sure about Postal, as I've never played it. GTA, at least what I've played, is closer to parodies than something meant to be taken seriously.

Valve is not a government authority. If they don't want to sell something, there is nothing stopping you from buying it from a different source.
