huh, I was considering something similar... as an MGS newbie. Start with MGS1 on PSN, get the HD Collection, then play my neglected MGS4. Should I do it?

Alternatively, I could hunt down the PS2 versions, but then I'd miss out on Peace Walker because I ain't gettin a PSP

MGO?
Metal Gear Online

I took a screen cap of my profile before the update took over

Is your monitor a fucking rectangle?

Edit: most monitors are rectangles
Uh, yes?
looking at the top of the screen must be like sitting in the front row at a movie theater

You got max attack and near-max speed. What else do you need?
I'm a little concerned about its Special Defense. Would a better IV really make that much of a difference? (And is 31 Speed really *that* necessary for Adamant nature Ray?)

With the ORAS Rayquaza giveaway, there's never been an easier way of getting a competitive-quality Mega Rayquaza. Usually, I don't soft-reset for pokes, but getting Pokemon's equivalent Brawl Meta Knight is too tempting to pass up. And Gen 6 guarantees at least three perfect IVs for each legendary, so SR-ing is 50% less masochistic than ever before.

OT: I just got an Adamant-nature 31/31/31/15/12/30 Rayquaza, debating if I should SR again or keep this one. Yes/no?

I initially went for something elaborate, but I was more content with a plainer design.

Cars is like if dreamworks was really good at copying Pixar.

Verb it's not just you, it's a weak film that only exists to sell merch to children.
Welcome to Disney's business model since the 50's.
At least it's not those rapid-fire straight-to-video sequels during Michael Eisner's reign. Now that was terrible.

But that said, Toy Story especially doesn't need a new sequel :( the only one I'm hyped for is Incredibles 2, because it deserves a sequel and would actually probably make good use of one.

Have to say, I'd be pretty disappointed if Toy Story 4 is going to happen
I'm pretty certain The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, Toy Story 4, and Incredibles 2 are all confirmed in some way, if not officially just yet. I haven't heard about Cars 3 but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Serious / Re: Who won the Republican debates?
« on: August 14, 2015, 09:41:35 PM »
Oh man, first of all, this was good television. I'm an idiot for missing the first hour because this was great to watch. All three of the moderators--Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly, and Bret Baier-- did an excellent job. They didn't go easy on the candidates. It's so easy to forget that Fox News actually has some good reporters. It's the most I've liked Kelly since 2012.

I still have my unexplainable grudge against Rubio, but apparently he did a good job for himself. John Kasich seems like a good guy, and the only one of the GOP contenders I'd vote for. Some folks are saying Ben Carson also did well, although I'm pretty decided that I don't like him. I saw clips of Carly Fiorina at the smaller debate, and while she's too conservative for my tastes, she left a very good impression.

Donald Trump should have lost by all measures, but Roger Ailes threw Kelly under the bus in favor of Trump, and now she's on a two-week vacation. If the GOP were rational, they'd be glad that Trump got dunked on, but instead they're going into damage control mode to defend him. It's just... baffling, and disheartening the backlash Kelly is getting, but thankfully the election is more than a year away. Plenty of time to set things right again.
