OMG

I need one.

The emblem menu lags horribly for me when I go to the words part.
PC version, right? That's a known problem. :/

...Kind of funny because the rest of the game runs so well.

Watching the video reminded me of Brandon Keener's Garrus voice. They should have gotten him instead <3

I've never played Destiny, but I realized watching the video that this is some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard in a video game. I don't think Bryan Cranston could redeem it.

That said, I felt like Dinklage's voice brought a sort of mystique (no pun intended) to the role that North's doesn't. I imagine it's at least partly because North is everywhere in video games, whereas Dinklage isn't, so it's more... special? I dunno, Dinklage's performance gave me chills, even if it wasn't really up to par for him.

As far as I can tell from the PC version, there probably wasn't a nerf, or at least not much of one. Most likely a different time of day and/or different weather, as indicated by the clouds. Although, considering what point in the game that's from, I'm surprised that the time/weather weren't pre-determined for the sake of the demo, at least to avoid confusion.

Besides, the landscape in the 2014 demo is actually better.

When I found out "Ebola-Chan" and "Rick From Pawn Stars" was Kinder's alts, which resulted in him throwing a tantrum against me and getting perma'd.

Have any of you done FOB invasions yet?

>.> Would you want to make a video of one? I'm curious to see how it would go.

I myself haven't. I've barely had time to play recently and I'm just starting to build up Mother Base ;_;

Servers aren't 100% yet.

I will when I get the chance.
Neat, I can't wait.

Serious post though: I always liked the Bungie logo, but maybe it's partly because of the rush of nostalgia I get whenever I see it. I can't help but imagine that animation thing that plays at the beginning of a Halo game before you even get to the menu.

I actually really dig their newer logo. The trail of the ball overlapping with the text was never very pleasing to the eye IMO.

I thought there was something different about it. Yeah, new one looks better for that.

The story ended up being a bit shit but at least I can still enjoy the gameplay and do cool shit like this.
Suppressed sniper rifle? Bandana? Active camo? WANT.

Yeah IMO the gameplay is terrific. TPP feels like GOTY material just for that, even if the story is... lacking.

I'm mostly lost but I get the gist of 'getting revenge on Cipher.' I can't decide on a color for Mother Base, though. Orange is nice but a bit grating at the same time... but nothing else really has that sort of warmth to it.

Well, I'm afraid I have to get going >.> I have other matters to tend to.

How do I update more, it only made me do Vietnam?
IIRC Vietnam is the last one. Did you get the Onslaught update? (You don't have to buy it, just download it)
How dafuq do I get that?
>.> I don't remember specifically, but go to the in-game store and download all of the updates that are available. You don't have to buy anything, just get the updates--they're two separate items IIRC.
I only saw Update 3, and that was the Vietnam update.
Hmm, what about the map packs? Are those free by now? You might need those.
I'll try downloading them. Can't wait for that to take for-fucking-ever.
I mean... I dunno. This game night was kind of a disaster >.> at this point I don't know if we'll even attempt another one with this game. Don't worry about the download.

OT: Sorry everyone  :'(
Yeah, it reminded me why I deleted it in the first place.
I didn't realize how awful EA's DLC implementation was back then. Holy shit. It didn't even feel that bad back then. Sorry  :'(
