I'll need a physical copy if I ever want a particular game again, and years down the line, obtaining one might be difficult to accomplish.
Only that would result in a massive legal battle and steam isn't going away in the slightest form anytime soon, seeing as every gamer on PC basically has it.
That's about the same logic as saying Microsoft or Xbones won't exist anymore, so your games won't be able to be played.

Internet speeds in the future will allow you to torrent them

I'm debating whether I should exchange my download code for the game disc instead. I'd prefer the physical disc for my own sake, my rationale being that there will come a time when I won't be able to just download the game anymore, and I like the security of having a physical copy. But then again, if worst comes to worst, I can always just buy a used copy, I guess. Although, if I get the physical copy, shipping would take 3-5 business days, which means I wouldn't be able to play on launch day. What should I do?
