I fail to see how it wasn't his humor.
Breaking the fourth wall, rambling, pessimism about his condition. All pretty spot on.
Deadpool is capable of smart humour. Not this gradeschool bullshit. That's why I said it was a parody of Deadpool. The best Deadpool moments lack sexuality/swearing/gore etc. Also the movie lacked his schizophrenia. Which is a shame because that actually results in some clever moments everywhere else.

the movie wasn't even a good representation of what made deadpool fun in the first place. it wasn't deadpool's kind of humour -- it was a parody of deadpool's humour, and people just eat that shit up because, surprise surprise, they aren't familiar with the character.
even humour aside, the only thing that wasn't sub-par was the choreography of the fight scenes. that's it. it's not just that the movie was stupid -- it was also poorly made.

Part of me understands the thought process behind "I'm a straight guy and I totally wanna have sex with that super hot girl over there, whether she wants to or not" kind of rape. what part of you understands that? like, i understand lust exists, but to go through the actual process of raping someone? what the fuck. that person is crying, struggling for their life, hitting you, trying to claw your eyes out, begging you to stop. How do you even remain aroused at that point? (that part wasn't directed at you, necessarily) that's something i've never understood about rape cases and why i think that anyone who rapes someone is severely fucked in the head. just, beyond saving.

Deadpool being an intentionally stupid movie doesn't make it any less stupid. No but does that mean irony can no longer be enjoyed? It always seemed intuitive to me that the use of the word "nigga" was meant to be ironic, at least, when used by us pastey-white kids. Whereas Deadpool isn't stupid to be ironic, it's stupid because it thinks people enjoy that.
