Well I mean Destiny 2 was one of the best selling games in 2O17 according to Activision so I very sincerely doubt they'll die

They're only dead in the eyes of their original Halo fanbase

destiny 2's playerbase has been abysmal for awhile though

The Flood / Re: Have you ever cheated on a partner or been cheated on?
« on: March 03, 2018, 08:38:31 PM »
what drove you to cheat
It all came from me. I’m sure everyone’s slightly different but for me it was the high of feeling wanted and desired by another woman, my sex drive, my insecurities. I almost felt like I was coming from a place of lacking, that I HAD to nab this opportunity to cheat, like there wouldn’t ever be an opportunity in the future when/if I was single. It had absolutely nothing to do with my partner at all, nothing they could do would’ve changed the decision I made.

It was a really dark time for me, it made me miserable and actually more paranoid of my partner. I confronted her about it and it was this huge ordeal we went through that is still not fully recovered.

Since then I’ve been trying to live with a lot more integrity, both with other people and myself. Life is simpler like that when (like verb said) you’re honest with yourself and others. Been working for me so far.

would you say youre still in a position where cheating would be too tempting to pass up

would you say cheating usually comes from insecurity
Good questions

1. If like to say no, but I’m not actually certain. My sex drive is insanely high right now and what I’ve been doing is completely avoiding situations that could enable cheating. I doubt I would cheat again now but there’s always situations that could make it really difficult(just being honest)

2. Sometimes but not always. For some people it may not even be from low self esteem, they might have regular self esteem/security and cheating is even more of a self esteem booster. I was also reading how some people are addicted to that “high” of initially meeting someone and getting physical with them, like a mini honeymoon stage.

by your definition, i would classify "regular self esteem" as low self esteem. healthy levels of security would allow the rational part of your brain to control the impulse better. but whatever. just get off the juice i think youll be okay lol

Jono has a double digit IQ and cannot grasp that soul and effort does not directly correlate to quality of final product.

everything being determined is different from saying the "universe" is infalliable, which is what "no mistakes" implies

Sean Schemmel, being a gigantic piece of shit once again.
WOW I remember hearing this guys Goku a few times years ago but I actually thought it was a dream or something. Looking him up brought back weird nostalgia

yeah, i know what you mean. i still have old dvds with kelamis's voice as goku. its a trip and a half.

i think schemmel's voice suits the character more, but kelamis is far and away the better actor

what's stopping the dude from just buying a ticket and going anyway?

and yeah I've been hearing more and more nasty things coming out about Schemmel

he was asked specifically not to go. i think there's some legal stuff there.

Serious / Re: So what is the actual deal with GMOs?
« on: March 02, 2018, 09:13:30 PM »
I heard someone else at work saying that a study with lab rats found that the one group who ate GMO-treated soy had reproductive issues and other health problems within 3 generations."

even if this were true that doesn't really mean anything since rats aren't human and that 2.5% difference we have in DNA is pretty substantial. not to mention the fact that the size difference alone means that whatever is in those GMOs that does that to rats would need to be substantially higher in quantity to produce the same effect in humans if we assume that the effects carry over.

that was my initial response, but i am still woefully uneducated on the topic.

Worth noting that in the 2 weeks~ since I started my soy based bulk I've noticed huge increases is muscle recovery and strength. GMO soy milk feels more substantial than the alternative. Also my shits have been incredibly efficient.

« on: March 02, 2018, 08:51:08 PM »
what was being said about GMOs in the book

all i know is that, regardless of how harmful they are, they're definitely something that ought to be labeled

Quote
"But if you're looking fror an unbiased opinion, how about the American Academy of Environmental Medicine? They've said: 'There's so much evidence of harm from anbimal feeding studies (GMO crops are fed to livestock) including reporductive disorders, immune system problems, accelerated aging and more.' (Source) And data from our very own U.S. department of agriculture says that over the first thirteen years of commerical use of GMO, herbicide in the U.S. increased by 383 million pounds. (Source)

Once GMS are released in the wild there's no way to control them. The harsh chemicals farmers use on these biocrops contaimnate every other field around the area, and they ruin organically grown crops on other farms when the wind carries their pollen or seed to far-flung destinations."

Basically his argument then boils down to "Mosanto has been shit in the past, and they're likely getting help from the government considering they turned down a petition with a million signatures to label GMO products and the fact that many European countries have already banned GMOs.

I heard someone else at work saying that a study with lab rats found that the one group who ate GMO-treated soy had reproductive issues and other health problems within 3 generations.

So yeah, I'm just not really sure what to think here and some debunks/evidence in favour of GMOs would be really great to get my hands on.

Quality of final product has no bearing on how much effort or "soul" was placed into a project.

Reznor clearly put a lot of effort into Add Violence, but it's still one of his weakest outputs ever.
Who is Reznor

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails
