Completed this mindfuck of a game without guides. Thanks to Verb and anyone else who managed to come out. Finale is uploading right now (including some criticism and response to the game overall). OP is updated with individual parts.
I will be starting CV3 on Sunday.

truthfully in the age of uber, why does anyone really need to drive around? my insurance is 500$ a month (which is about 1.5 times more than what the average person pays in my city, granted), but for that kind of money I could just uber around where i needed to for the month.
500 a month?!
(That's crazy even for Ireland - my insurance was 3k euros [about 3500 dollars]) What do you drive? Were you in a lot of accidents?
i just drive an old pickup. when i was 17 i was charged with street racing, that's why my insurance is so high. although even before, i was paying about 280$ a month. add in gas and general maitenance, it's still probably cheapter to use uber/public transportation.

But is the DNC gonna steamroll him again I wonder? Establishment democrats don't seem to be very fond of Bernie.
I haven't been paying too much attention to all the candidates, but I was feeling what I saw of Tulsi Gabbard's platform. I'll have to check out more, though, as I'm not very familiar with her. I'm also not really one to just trust any politician to make good on what they promise.
DNC is attempting to make asking candidates during the debates if they will govern "as a democrat" an important question. Which, based on current contenders, is really only a slight meant for Sanders. Do with that information what you will. I'm not a giant fan of Gabbard myself; her political history is upsetting. Also I wouldn't really agree that "establishment democrats" are the reason for Clinton's selection as the democratic nominee, but to each their own.

So I got my adapter and was attempting to try it out, when suddenly this happened. Once I get past my initial speech, skip to 3:40 if you don't want to watch the full thing.

How does Bernie compare to Harris, Warren, Yang, or any of the other announced candidates for you guys? Just curious.
Obviously in my opinion, but Top tier: Bernie > Warren Mid tier: [Beto] = [Bloomberg] > Harris > [Biden] > Booker Low tier: Castro Not-even-once tier: Yang, Shultz In terms of general electibility, I think Harris, Biden and Beto have the best chances of winning against Trump in 2020. I can't see Bernie winning an election against Trump unless a Kasich or Romney run as an independent, and I can't see Warren winning regardless of other candidates. I liked Clinton and Harris is just a worse version of her, Biden isn't a great choice but he would pull enough from both sides to win, and Beto has that star power.

hes not that much older than hillary, biden or trump for that matter. he just looks a lot older.
biden may be old as fuck too but i don't necessarily care if he dies
trump was 70 when he was inaugurated, making him the oldest ever
assuming bernie were to be elected, he will be 79 during his inauguration
it's just scary, i wish some young buck would step up to the plate and be a bernie sanders jr. or something
AOC is electable in 5 years iirc so theres your young buck

it's hard to feel that great about it when the constant looming fear of him dying in office (or during the campaign) is so apparent
he has my vote of course but i mean yeah i'm just kinda scared is all

cv3 does indeed have passwords hell yeah. that'll at least make the final boss easier (i heard Dracula has 3 phases in that one — jfc) any time after 5 on week days should work out for me, and for weekends i should be free all the time (and my weekend begins on thursday) I'm good for about 6 PM tomorrow if that works for you. Saturday is the only weekend day I can't play this week, so I'll try to put some time in every night until then. since the game has passwords and is apparently not that hard once you know all the secrets, the nature of my playthrough will likely be different than the CV1 stream. other than that, yeah i'd like to do as much as possible without hints. i'm cool with your terms. good idea on the text bubble, i'll give that whirl.

I was planning on starting today, but felt pretty wiped from work. Instead, I beat CV1 again. And it only took me two hours this time! Death gave me the most trouble (I think I needed about 15 attempts + I used the holy water strat.) Dracula, once you master the techniques, is actually much more fair than Death IMO, so he only required about 8 or so tries (instead of 50+ like last time.)
God, this feeling is great. I really recommend everyone play this game. It's easily top 3 of all time for me.

i'll try to play along with you but this is a slightly busy school week so i'll probably end up lagging behind a bit
which isn't a big deal because i've played a decent amount of this game anyway, but yeah
the good news is that the game uses passwords, so progressing won't be as much of an issue this time
passwords? hell yeah. that makes it easier. is CV3 like that as well? let me know what times work for you if you want to catch the streams.

Most likely going to start Simon's Quest tonight around 5PM EST. I don't expect to beat it so it'll be kind of casual this time. I just bought a classic NES controller and PC adapter so I'm hoping to actually beat this game with the controller the developers intended by the end of the week. If I can manage to complete Dracula's Curse by the 1st of March I'll be a happy camper.

it sure was cool of that rando to stick around until the end
yeah, it was ive noticed that a lot of these older games have a pretty tightly knit community that seems to care about newcomers a lot he was trying to get me into speedrunning the game with him and stuff when i was playing diddy kong racing trying to get all the time trials completed, i had the same thing where people more experienced than i would drop in for tips and moral support its really cool and the best part of streaming so far.

Verbatim finding happiness isn't going to discredit his philosophies. I know that's what some of you are hoping for. One can hold pessimistic viewpoints and still maintain neurological normalcy.
