If your dad gave him the keys, he should pay up. He chose to be responsible by taking your choice to lend the car to your inexperienced brother. Yeah, I know that, too. My dad and I don't get along well so this isn't out-of-character for him.

Well that's why she doesn't want you to talk to her sister. Yeah, I know.

What's it like driving a 90's vette? I had thoughts of getting one to go joy riding in if I had the money to spare for one. It's a Corvette and my first car, so I obviously really enjoy it, lol. I got it for $7K with 120km on it. It really suits me, too, but it needed some fixing up as it was. It's going to cost a shit ton to fix this thing, and with money I don't actually have. To me what is going to suck is that even if you had the money to fix it, you're still going to spend a lot on fixing up an old vehicle. You have to decide between fixing up an old vehicle which you liked or using that money to save up for something newer which would be better in the long run. Either way you'e going to end up screwing yourself over in some way.
Yeah. I don't even know what I'm going to do.

I mean that at least your life isn't in stasis like mine, heading in absolutely no direction at all.
Oh. Well unfortunately, that direction appears to be headed downwards.

Well at least you're going somewhere. What do you mean by this? And my condolences to you and your family.

Is that... is that a C4 Corvette?
Yeah, we've had this conversation before. I drive an 87 Corvette and it's awesome.

Shes being a huge dick. Have you tried talking to your friend about it?
Yeah, she always deflects with "I never said that." or "Fine, I won't say anything anymore." But then I take her sister out for lunch or text her about literally anything and she starts complaining to her family again. She's a very emotionally-driven person. It drives me up the freaking wall.

Is he alright?
He's a bit shaken up but he'll be fine.

Shit that sucks, sorry to hear about your friend. And what exactly is your best friend doing?
Thanks. She's sisters with the girl I'm in love with, and for some reason it really bothers her, so she's been "blocking" me by saying things to her brother or mom about me hanging out with them too much, or she'll tell her sister not to talk to me even though she wants to. She's just being a cunt.

Shit son, brand new driver with a 350, rwd, I'm assuming no trac control, and in the wet? That's just a recipe for disaster.
Yeah, that's what I've been saying. The Corvette was technically my first car too but I had already been driving other cars for like 6 months beforehand, and I had been driving my dad's Corvette for awhile with him in the passenger seat. My father tries to spin it as "you let your inexperienced brother drive your car in these conditions, so you're going to pay for the damages." Yet he's the one who gave him the keys... It's just a whole situation right now.

I couldn't help but laugh at Pickle Barrel
It's actually a sick gig, though. Perfect for me.

Is your brother going to help you pay for your car at least? It was his fuck up. He's got less money than I do, and I can't really blame him for what happened. He literally just got his license a week ago, he shouldn't have been driving something that powerful right off the bat. Especially in these weather conditions. He shouldn't have been given keys to my car, but my dad has a spare set so, so... I'm really sorry about your friend passing away <3 Thanks. Don't let your friends fuck up what you have with your girlfriend if you actually love her. Fuck (figuratively) the girl you "used to love" she's not worth your time. The thing is, I'm not actually dating girl no. 1, and she's the sister of girl no. 2. Girl no. 2 doesn't like the fact that I like her sister (no. 1), so she keeps telling her and her family stuff about me that isn't really true in an attempt to stop anything from happening. Girl no. 1 is someone I used to love but have kinda moved on from. It's an extraordinarily fucked situation. Stand up and be a man and tell your "buddy" to fuck off and give you some good shifts (especially since your car is fucked now) The thing is, at the Barrel, it's always hit or miss. I was supposed to work last night, but my buddy's girlfriend knew that if I worked last night, he would have to work today, and she wanted to propose to him today, so she asked if I could take tonight's shift instead. My buddy ended up making 200$ in tips last night on the night I was supposed to work. Typically Thursdays and Saturdays are the big hitters but I've worked really good Friday's, too. It's just all random. /advice response

Pickle Barrel
I actually love it there. I can make pretty good money, I get paid to drive around and listen to music, the girl who prepares my deliveries is a french qt that is just mindbogglingly pretty, I'm 20 minutes to my buddy's house, 30 minutes to my school. Pretty solid gig, tbh.

I've been driving my sister's car while she's out of town this week because I work delivery for Pickle Barrel and her car is much better on gas, so my brother has been taking my car to and from school and work for the last couple of days. Today was a rainy day so the roads were bad, he ended up spinning tires and swerving into on-coming traffic, resulting in him over-correcting into the curb. It could've been a lot worse, but it just feels like one thing after the other this week. It's going to cost a shit ton to fix this thing, and with money I don't actually have. On top of this, one of my closest friends passed away, my best friend is ruining things with the girl I love, a girl I used to love is going out with a new guy, my buddy keeps stealing all the good delivery days from work, resulting in me basically making no money, and my grades are gradually slipping below acceptable. /blog

Yeah. I try to go as often as possible but we've had awfully warm seasons the last couple of years.
Don't believe those who say skiing is better. They just suck at it.

He's likely dead. He didn't have much time left last we spoke and he was sleeping a lot as it was. I haven't heard from him in a long time and he would've gotten in touch with me if he could.
I'm sure you would have heard...right?
I don't think he's gone
We never exchanged personal information and he wasn't particularly close -- promixity or relationship-wise -- to anyone. I knew I would never know for sure when exactly he'd go, but he said he likely wouldn't make it to May.

Amazing reveal. Loved absolutely everything about it. Don't see why people don't like the water starter, he doesn't even look that bad.
Both legendaries look amazing, though. Game Freak seems to have outdone themselves this time. Can't decide if I'm going Sun or Moon tbh.
