Not a huge fan of these bands, but I would still recommend 2 albums in particular I've taken a liking to.
1. "Violator" by Depeche Mode
2. "Hatful of Hollow" by The Smiths
Both really enjoyable, though Violator is more approachable. HoH takes a bit longer to appreciate.

It's also much easier to forgive a comic book movie taking ""creative risks"" with Michael B Jordan because comics are, by nature, multiuniversal. There is rarely a constant, universal canon because the publishers realise that's stupid and hinders creativity. There's a black president Superman, for heaven's sake.
But with a book series, it matters a lot more. And if she is described as white, she's white, but again, I haven't read the books so I'm unaware of the situation.
I hate racial pandering as much as the next guy, but let's pick our battles more wisely, guys.
The relationship between the human torch and invisible woman as siblings is a driving force in the F4.
Removing that element for the sake of milking the token black card is awful and a poor creative decision.
Wasn't she adopted in the movie, though? I can't remember.
