I'm really digging the aesthetic of this game. It's like Wind Waker in that I think it will age really well.

It's too early to tell. I was impressed with what Zelda showed, and they're still not done showing stuff. Pokemon is pretty boring, but unless you're the one playing, it's always boring. Additionally, I would say: Sony >>> EA > Microsoft > Ubisoft 8196

This is the first year I care about something from Nintendo that isn't Pokemon. Zelda looks great.

Gaming / Re: "Death Stranding" - A Kojima Productions Thread« on: June 14, 2016, 11:16:30 AM »That Trailer was so cryptic.....whats it about? No one knows yet. We know a few things about Death Stranding: -3rd person action game -story-driven -open-world but not in the traditional sense The dead whales on the shore have been "stranded", along with the rest of the fish... we have what is presumably the game's incarnation of "death" floating above the character's location (the 5 mysterious floating characters we saw), and they're the ones "stranding death". All I see is familiar TPP elements like the skulls (Ludens SCREAMS Parasite Unit) and whales (Moby Dick influence). 8204

Given his recent character "development" it's pretty obvious he'd go with Team Cap.

Gaming / Re: "Death Stranding" - A Kojima Productions Thread« on: June 13, 2016, 10:20:53 PM »The real Phantom Pain. You knew it would be out eventually. It really is, though. Everything from the Skull imagery (Ludens) to the dead wales (Moby Dick symbolism) to the lost child shtick screams "Fuck you Konami, this time I'm out for blood. I'll keep coming." It's like MGSV had a wild night in the sack with PT and is fulfilling everything Kojima wanted to do with the first go. Except this time, Kojima isn't limited by the contrived narrative he bound himself to with the MGS games. 8209

ReCore and Fe just got me super interested. Sea of Thieves will be fun with friends, but then again, so will games like Titanfall 2 and X-Wing VR (hopefully).

My favourite game from E3 thus far is Fe. It'd probably be Spider-man or Crash Bandicoot HD but we didn't see enough of them to judge.
Zero Dawn looks like a confirmed purchase for me, and if I manage to get the VR headset I'll definitely pick up X-Wing and Arkham. And I hope that capture the flag eagle game from Ubisoft comes to PS4. 8217
