There are times when I consider that too, Callus. When I realize nothing matters, that there's nothing to look forward to, that nothing anybody accomplishes will ever mean anything, that any sense of happiness will be temporary at best. The creeping horror when the utter meaninglessness of it all dawns on me is almost too much to bear.
Then I think, damn, Mountain Dew Voltage sounds great right about now. I'll pick some up later.

A general sense of disconection with the rest of existence. I've been finding it difficult to care for anything of this world for a long time now.
There appears to be no course of action that's worthwhile. No possible future that guarantees my satisfaction -- and because of this, it doesn't seem worth the effort. Not just for me, but for everyone. And somehow I'm the only one who notices the futility of human existence so I become even more isolated from my peers. There's no one to console me, and I can console no one. It's a vicious cycle that I yearn to escape.

Halo 4 had a great soundtrack, it just lacked the familiar chord progression all of Marty's compositions had. It didn't have a main theme that each track had a different tonal variation of, it was just one solid composition after the other with no real thread connecting the songs together. Davidge gets a lot of shit for it and I think he did great.

Spoiler tags have proven to be ineffective in reducing page slowdown. The best thing he could do is just use a named hyperlink.
