What level should i be for this boss? My time in ds3 taught me that levels make a pretty big difference so ive put more time into that than say weapons or armor (longsword +1 is most ive done)
Also are there ways to increase weapon scaling like the refined gems and such in ds3?

And no (there's still elemental infusions and raw) The weapons just naturally have better scalings really.

Hey im avoiding your ds thread because i dont want to ruin my eventual experience playing it but i was wondering if you considered the idea of streaming and recording your playthroughs live.
I know you have ps4 so if you ever get around to playing the rest of the souls games itd be a lot easier that way.
That's a fun idea. I have an Elgato, so I can basically stream anything I want.
If people would watch, I'd definitely consider doing that.
Yeah. I considered doing it for me but the fact of the matter is most people dont really care about my opinion on these games so it wouldnt be worth the effort. But i see the amount of attention your souls thread had gotten and how much you write for each update and i cant help but think a private sep7agon livestream would just be so much more fun and communal. I cant speak for anyone else but i love watching people play games, especially when ive already experienced what theyre playing. And especially dark souls for some reason. Idk just a thought, but i think thatd be pretty cool. Id tune in.

Biggest pet peeve so far is the rolling attack. In ds3 when you roll and follow up with a jab you do it in the direction youre locked on to. In ds2 you just do it in the direction of the roll.

Neither are actually that difficult though, other than the sheer surprise factor of the Asylum Demon's first appearance. (although some of Last Giants attacks are liable to catch you the wrong way.)
