Well.... there's no right to it, and usually the dudes are just using their regular payed vacation time for a week after birth. And most employers who even offer special "paternity leave" do so unpaid.

Hm, that's odd. Perhaps it's different in the U.S., but I know my junior year gym teacher left for several months on pat leave. Not sure about the specifics though, but I imagine he wouldn't last too long if he was unpaid given the average salary for a teacher at my school.

my first time watching the breakfast club i thought it was just overrated
but every time i re-watch it i'm blown away by the nuance and character acting. plus it's hard for me to understand the life of a kid in the 80s because I wasn't one and it's really different now. It's a peek into something i'll never understand.
and the soundtrack, don't even get me started.
