If you make another account and someone asks if the two are connected you can say no and there won't be any evidence that can 100% say that they are the same. If they're not the same, then the original account's threads won't be passed onto the new one.
If Jive were to plan his murder here, then make an alt, he couldn't be charged with planning a murder, because it's "not" his account.

How are the cops supposed to get the IP address? Also, an IP address isn't coordinates, and even then they wouldn't be 100% efficient. You can only guess the area if you have an IP address, and if you had coordinates and the person was living in an apartment block, then tough luck; you'd have to go even further.
Besides, I was just using murder as an excuse. You should already have gotten the answer to your initial question, but in case you haven't:
If a person sees Jive Turkey's account they can look him up. If a person sees Jive Turkey's alt they can look it up, and maybe come to the conclusion that they might the same account. If they ask Cheat for the IP address he wouldn't give it, and if they asked Jive he'd know that he has a stalker, and he wouldn't have to answer it. If confronted about a thread, he could say it wasn't his, and also accuse the person of stalking, which automatically gives him a reason to tell her to fuck off.
the cops could force cheat to reveal ip address in the necessary case, and identical ip addresses could be used as evidence also, i dont really think anyone's going to give a shit if officially jive and his alt arent the same person -- this isnt a court of law, people just need to feel like theyre right

2d games are really hit or miss for most people though, especially if you didn't play them in their prime or you don't have an affinity for the retro aesthetic
i'm always going to recommend wind waker first. that game just sucks you into its world and doesn't let go.

I'm not letting my emotions dictate this though. I've gone back time and time again, even a few weeks ago. In fact it's only been recently I've come to many of the conclusions I have. Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE the game. I enjoy the stealth with no reflex mode on. It's really intense and you have to be careful. I sometimes don't even choose the Sneaking Suit just to keep to the vanilla look, as well as increase the difficulty.
It's just running from place to place gets old very very quickly, along with the intro to missions with the credits and all that. I should specify I don't hate the game I guess. I'm just disappointed at a lot of things in it because it's easily in my top 3 series.
yeah you're right, the downtime between missions, the open and empty spaces, etc. really hamper the experience to vets like us but honestly these things only start to bother you after long ass time, and don't really bring the game down all that much. it's legitimate criticism no doubt but i feel like folks latch onto those details to hide their dissatisfaction with the lack of story and its direction. i'm just saying -- in a fight between 2 50$ games, he's going to get his money out of mgsv - for sure. i can't comment on tw3, i haven't played it.
