i never worry about money. i always seem to find a way to survive even with nothing. plus i'll start work in 2 weeks. and my walkman would have tons of use. cassette tapes cost a fraction of what cds cost.

I bought one before I could afford a cd player.
It wasn't that they didn't exist just that they cost mad money, but I had lots of tapes up until the end of elementary school. I got a Sony CD Walkman in fifth grade, and then in seventh a sansa mp3 player.
Even just in the last decade they've gotten stupid expensive, where in 2003 I could've bought that Walkman for $15-$20, and it was the cd player that was $100+
oh, that explains it then tapes are a lot less expensive than cds and stuff nowadays though so i feel like it sorta balances itself out by spending money now man you're actually pretty cool maybe i should listen to you more often

well this is a first gen walkman which are pretty rare not to mention a lot of models go for +$100 nowadays online because theyre so hard to find so relatively speaking this is a good deal unless you find one in a thrift shop but they never work (i have two that don't)

i'm gunna send out my resume to a few places sometime this week so i can line up a job come september. i figure all the kids are going back to school so there'll be something for me. plus i know a couple guys at a few detailing places that'd love to have me on full-time.
I make bank detailing on the side at a couple different body shops whenever they're short handed.
Both places pay me under the table too which is nice
beautiful. thats what im hoping happens after i get my diploma and go to college.
