It's the "smart guy" meme personality

Glad I moved past it, then.

It's okay. A lot of crap, though--which is kinda to be expected, considering that it's basically pop's bastardization of hardcore punk.

yeah, you're right. but to be fair, every genre present in the 80s has a lot of crap.

INTJs are the archetypal 'aloof strategist' type. The intellectual Machiavellian who plans his every move, knows what he wants, and is capable of getting it.

Ooh, I see. Yeah I could see why that would be appealing. Being Batman would be pretty cool.

This whole conversation is also predicated on the assumption that MBTI has scientific validity. Just as a note.

And it doesn't?

My personality is a meme

Yeah, holy fuck. I'm looking at your celebrity personality type list and, damn. You got shafted, my friend.

If Hitler was alive today he'd listen to the Smiths, the Cure, and Depeche Mode.
Hitler was a sensitive man.

well then i'd jam out with adolf any time

It was supposed to be a joke, but since we're on the subject people tend to answer these things in a way which lends itself to getting INTJ, instead of answering honestly.

No I mean, why is INTJ so appealing that people lie to "get" it?

mine also said Harrison ford
I think they just have a generic list of celebrities it cycles through to make you buy their 40 dollar book about your personality

You may be right, Ford isn't on my link here.

He's here on the ISTP list, along with Steve Jobs, whom I also got.

My guess is the two personality types are pretty similar? My original link literally has a Steve Jobs quote to start, lol.
that's weird mine had a Harrison Ford quote

guess that means we're drift-compatible

INTJ-A
80% of people who answer INTJ are lying 100% of the time.

why's that?

The Flood / Re: What is your personality type?

I took this last year, 6 months ago and just before July and got INTJ.

Now I got ENTJ-A.

Considering most won't read each link:

Quote
ENTJs are natural-born leaders. People with this personality type embody the gifts of charisma and confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. But unlike their Feeling (F) counterpart, ENTJs are characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using their drive, determination and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they've set for themselves. Perhaps it is best that they make up only three percent of the population, lest they overwhelm the more timid and sensitive personality types that make up much of the rest of the world – but we have ENTJs to thank for many of the businesses and institutions we take for granted every day.

Good. Glad to see some growth on my part.

>Harrison Ford
>Tony Soprano
>Napoleon
>Julius Caesar

Fuck yeah.

Jim is cool af and he genuinely knows a lot more about music than most people so i feel like he's earned his elitism to a certain extent
I don't take it seriously anyway, I just like picking on you dorks. Generally when I discuss music I avoid autism.

yeah i noticed

maybe it's just cuz the music you suggest to me i usually end up enjoying that i'm more lenient with your teasing.

or maybe some people are just overly-sensitive.

blondie, the cure, depeche mode, new order, echo and the bunnymen, ultravox, billy idol, pet shop boys, the smiths

just goes on, man. i just love the overall sound and tone. it's kind of a ill-defined genre i know (because the sound ranges from an electronic and synth basis to a more acoustic sound) but there's just something authentic about it. new order straddles this line particularly often.

airport food is atrocious

but yeah go for it
Airports tend to have bangin food bro
It's always expensive and beer is eight dollars a glass, but they tend to still be bangin.

pretty much this in the US at least

i dont think ive ever had bad food in an american airport

must be just canadian airports that suck, then

pearson (toronto) has the worst food i've ever had, and on my trip to london we stopped in montreal which also had less-than-tasty food

that's pretty cool.

i'm going to my storage unit to see if i own a record player later on today so i'll definitely have to try out some of the vinyl i do have

yeah they want the game to be "optimized and finished" before its on shelves

i mean, i doubt that takes 2 months but kudos, i suppose

day 1 patches shouldn't be a thing, the director is right

Casettes have compatability  issues, poor quality and it's difficult to find any modern music that's published on tapes.

i don't listen to a whole lot of modern music anyway

not to mention, i could make my own cassette tapes. i can get a bundle of hq tapes for 4 bucks that comes with 7.

Quote
The player itself doesn't have the portability, capacity or convenience of a digital player.

It makes for a nice vintage collectors item but not something you could actively use without looking like an arse.

digital players don't have the space for my music, anyway

besides, there's something really liberating about not being able to skip songs with ease. can't explain it

I had no idea some of these were so valuable

it got even worse after GOTG came out. walkman prices skyrocketed. you won't find that model (the tps-l2) for less than $200.

The Flood / Re: so i currently have 100 bucks in my bank account, but

I only buy CDs and Vinyl.

I don't like tapes because the quality is poor, and I will never pay to download a song, if I'm gonna download it its gonna be free.

the quality downgrade is worth the pricepoint for me. i mean i don't usually use my samson sr850s while i'm on the go. i keep those at the house for my stereo, where i listen to my cds.

very rarely do i download music, but if i do i would feel guilty not paying for it.

Vinyl is a personal favorite because it has superb depth and clarity, plus the vacuum tube amp I use provides a sound that is both vibrant, and authentic.

I own over 800lbs of vinyl, so if you wanna go crazy with the tapes, you do you.

really? i was under the impression that vinyl was the worst in terms of sound purity. that's what my teacher used to tell me, anyway.

i have a few records but i don't have a player so i don't spend too much on cool vinlys if i see them.

https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Personal-Cassette-Lightweight-Recorder/dp/B013JDY7S0
?

i mean if i saw that in-store i'd consider buying it, but with shipping prices and time it's honestly not worth it for what i'd be getting. it'd come to 50 bucks and i wouldn't get it until the end of september.

the one in the OP may be more expensive but it's a) reliable, b) better looking, and c) i'd get it next week. you never know with these shit-brand models, and they look like garbage.

You're right, there really doesn't seem to be a whole lot of options anymore.

amazon.ca is even worse
