I just wish you would admit that you want it because it's vintage and you think it's cool.

Trying to make a case for cassette tapes when their clearly obsolete is ridiculous.

Go buy an old pioneer mp3 player with the clicky buttons.

i have already admitted that

there just happen to be other reasons, too

a single album on tape is a dollar. a single album on cd is 20. i put out 100 dollars on a walkman, i'm making my money's worth after 4 or 5 tapes.

mp3 players don't have the storage capacity i need, and a lot of my music isn't digital.

When do you ever want to play, curiously?

I might speak for all of us when I say that I don't want to pull a 2015 tourney on this one.

right now work for you?

Yep!

Wrong.
Both are equally important, but the mom must stay home with the children, as that is healthier.

kids who grow up without a mom are more productive members of society than folks without a father.

they're both important but the advantage is definitely in favour of the dad.

this is all just my opinion based on personal perception so go ahead and prove me wrong empirically i guess.

what about controllers

is there a snes controller for the wii
Not quite, but there's this thing:

Spoiler

It's called a Classic Controller, which is modeled after the SNES one. You could also just use a GameCube controller.

oh, i have one of those

which one do you recommend i use

i want it to resemble the original game as much as possible

But its been scientifically proven children who are raised with a stay at home dad turn out better.

Source?

daily reminder that being a stay at home dad would be the sickest gig in the world

literally just get to chill with your kids all day
Totally. Unfortunately, the man must go out and provide for his family.

i mean, my wife will have the option. she'll never work a day in her life if that's what she wants. but i'm not going to bar her from contributing to society and having a career of her own. and if she wants to make the money and leave me with the kids, that's okay too.

a father figure is more important to a child's development than a mother figure, so the more exposure to their dad, the better i guess.

Hmm, yeah, that's a bit pricey. I mean, I'd pay that much for it, but you don't even know you like it yet, so...

You could get it on VC.
yeah maybe i'll have to look into this virtual console thing

my biggest problem with it is that i have to use my wii-u which really isn't formatted for my old-ass tv

unless there's a vc on the wii i can use instead
Yep, there is. When I downloaded Super Metroid, it was on the original Wii.

what about controllers

is there a snes controller for the wii

you already know what i'm gonna say
what

legend of zelda?
super motherfucking metroid

i mean, it's a game better played alone and not necessarily with friends, but yeah

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B00002SVFV/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

the only "cheap" copy is a reproduction

reproductions don't have that memory issue, right

How am I wrong? I've proven in the XV thread I'm capable of admitting that, but you don't want to admit that so you just go and say that I'm unwilling to listen when you didn't even try.

that's not what i'm talking about.

you CAN change your perceived tone on the internet.

that's what i'm talking about.

In this logic, everyone bitches and moans then.

"in this logic"

who says that

but no, there are plenty of people who complain without being a bitch about it

Way to completely miss the point and dodge the actual problem.

what "actual problem" did i dodge

you said there's no way for you to change your perceived tone -- you're wrong, and i'm not going to be able to convince you of that. so i left it be.

Is any form of bringing up problems whining/bitching to you?

We're on an internet forum, it's rather difficult for me to change a perceived tone.

okay dude whatever

this is another example of you crying about shit no one else cares about

i've got 5 votes too, do you see me whining like a bitch
