The Flood / Re: Is fuel injection really that much more fuel efficient?
« on: October 27, 2016, 07:23:51 AM »
There's a lot of things that go in to the fuel efficiency of a vehicle,  and while EFI can be a more precise fuel delivery and deliver better results in similar motors, things like gear ratios seem to be have a bigger effect, especially for highway miliage.

yeah i was thinking about that on the way home. The vette is a 5 speed iirc, whereas my trans am is only a 3 speed.  3000 rpms the entire ride home at 120km/h really drinks gas.

luckily i dont need to drive too much on the highway anymore so i can rest easy. my city mileage is pretty good, and i do have my crappy 04 sunfire beater for long distance journeys.
Ooh, yup, three speed will do it. My impala was okayish on gas till I got on the highway doing 75/80. That just sucked fuel.

so what do i do just take back roads and shit to get places?

I mean, the 5.7 TPI was no marathon runner but it still lasted me 3 or 4 days on a full tank.

But this carbeurator is killing me at 50 bucks a day, man. It's actually fucked.

Is my fuel gauge just malfunctioning or is carbeuration just that bad?

I find it interesting how close they all are in %
maybe he only chose to answer a few questions, or just gave simple yes/no answers

i answered every question, even the extended questions and very rarely gave simple yes/no answers, and i also used the importance meter accurately

the only fitness test that ought to be required to be a fighter pilot should be a friendly game of 2 on 2 beach volleyball

ehh. the interior design of the kitt car is basically the standard for c7 vettes minus the gay steering. its divisive and ostentatious for no reason.

the real attraction to the kitt car is the front end, and even if you have to be careful going up hills, its still essentially the hood length of a c4 vette, which ive only ever had a problem with a handful of times.

not that id ever put that front end on my car. ive got a very specific vision for this car.

the trans am was designed to hold the attention of mainstream consumers by doing one thing: looking sick. ever since smokey and the bandit, followed by knight rider.

the camaros irocz was designed to be the more hardcore performance version of the vehicle.

Those are hi res.

There's nothing even somewhat decent about the quality.

theyre not that bad

but i thought hq=hr so i apologise
Anything depicting a dinosaur of poor taste is automatically low quality.

oh come on

the trans am is a cool car

you dont have to love it like i do but its still sweet looking

same with the delorean but i know you like to shit on the 12 because of its performance issues
The trans am is proof that hillbillies will buy anything if you give it enough horsepower, no matter HOW ridiculous

but so are like 90% of super cars

trans am is not even a fast car. pontiac never made a characteristically fast car. its just a characteristically cool car that ginos bought to look sick.

its got a big motor sure but its a fucking boat compared to the irocz, corvettes and mustangs of the time.

you nitpick a lot bro. cut that shit out.

i hate it when things i like become popular. this is a prime example.

im going to shoot myself if synthwave ever goes mainstream

"omg if my shallow interests go mainstream I'll have nothing left to be considered special by"

its mostly because i dont want to be associated with mainstream folk

as they are usually fucking retarded

but yeah im a full on hipster like that if thats what youre referring to. everyone is.

ive been smoking for months now and i dont feel addicted at all.

being unable to buy my own smokes i have to go sometimes a week or two without so much as a drag and i dont even notice.

sometimes i think smokers exaggerate the addictivity but then maybe i just dont have that gene

You really have to smoke consistently for your body to get addicted. Trust me when I tell you that nicotine is highly addictive and you should probably stop now before this shit affects you permanently.

pack a day for a 2-3 weeks at a time? thats what im at now

I       I   .
