You nerds have probably already saw this, but if you play both trailers at the same time, you'll notice that when the baby disappears in the first trailer, it appears at the exact same time in the second trailer.
of all people you should be kojimas biggest fan considering your stance on the whole video games = art even if he isnt the best artist, you should at least support him trying to push the industry in that direction

because i really, really felt like tlou1 was a fantastic game that didn't neee a sequel, and if it ever got one, it ran the risk of ruining it for me. and this trailer was nothing special. even though mullet teenager ellie is hot as fuck.

No thread on it so here goes. Remasters of the original Bandicoot Trilogy. Graphics look like shit, though. Still, these games were awesome so as long as they retain most of their original charm I'll be a-okay.

So I remember seeing the first trailer for MGSV, when the title wasn't even revealed. And doubted the graphics then. If the game releases looking like this, man... Impressive Kojima.
It looks the same as Second Son did on release, considering they use the same engine. Seems alright to think he'll deliver again.
They're using Sucker Punches engine? Didn't know that. Seems to look better to me. Could be the lighting. But Second Son came out in 2013. So this should look better anyways.
yes. the decima game engine is a modified version of suckerpunch's second son engine. that game was gorgeous and its particle effects cant be matched. cant wait to see what kojima does with it.
Just found out, not sure if you did to today... Decima is Guerrillas engine used for Horizon and Killzone.

The setting looks pretty cool. The soldiers seem to be clad in WW2 armor and have guns from that era. Basically if it has some kind of story tying into an alternate reality WW2 or something, I'm very sold. I doubt it will but the look of the soldiers / vehicles is making me try to fill in some blanks.

Do we have any time frame for when it could come out? or... maybe see gameplay... or... understand what, where, how, why, and when?

i dont necessarily think its a time travelfuck up but more of a case of koji picking and choosing elememts from every era he wants that work and mashing them together. the game probably takes place in the semi near future.
he did this all the time in mgs. especially in v, when one second your rocking out to joy division on your tape player and the next youre opening wormholes and shooting rocket limbs.
Hopefully. I just want some kind of context for what we're seeing. Something to point to and say "This is what I'm hyped for."
But yeah that makes sense. The era blender is beautiful thing.
mhm. like tpp i dont think anyone is going to be able to synopsise the story or what its about but a genre confirmatiom at the very least would be nice.
