The Flood / Re: What are the largest immigrant groups in your area?
« on: January 13, 2017, 02:09:47 PM »
Where I live? Mostly white European with a slight second to Southern Indian on the Northern side of town.

Where I grew up and went to school? Italian.

Where I work? Middle-Eastern/North-Western Indian and Portuguese.

Gotta say, I prefer where I work and grew up to where I live. Pakis are shit but Porkchops ain't bad. Wops are all talk but at least they're good to talk with ahout cars and shit. The racism in my neighbourhood is ridiculous against my family and I.
But aren't you white?

yeah but we're a low-class white that made our money instead of inheriting it, so we're looked down upon
That's classism.

not really, because based on what ive seen you write, you probably wouldnt consider us white. and neither do they.

theyre your kind of white people with their pale skin and light hair, whereas we're the non-white kind of white people, with a bit darker hair and skin.

The Flood / Re: whats the age range for millenial
« on: January 13, 2017, 08:39:50 AM »
82-96 seems like a good range for "Millennial".

97-2010 is the iGeneration, no doubt.

Kids born from 2011-present are going to suck.

The iGeneration's kids will be identical to Generation X, I reckon.

Millennial is between 82 and 96

Gen Z is 96 and later

if you're born on the cusp, you can identify as a young millennial or old Gen Z

define "cusp"

Somewhere around the late 80's to the early 00's for millennials.

Keep in mind that generations don't really have concrete start and stop dates, and are an entirely arbitrary concept when applied to mass populations.

i know, im more looking for a ballpark of age range (which you gave) and the surrounding generation names (before and after millenial)
Gen x is our parents, and Gen z after us.
I don't know the nicknames of them.

so gen z is basically very late 90s - now or what

i cant bring myself to believe that these people are so lacking in strength of character that one unnecessarily vituperative member scares them away

Gaming / Re: Games that you've never finished
« on: January 12, 2017, 09:27:52 AM »
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Lost interest.

Watch Dogs - Got caught up in side missions before beating the second Chapter of the main story, and the quality of that story wasn't enough to satisfy my boredom with the game.

Ocarina of Time - Went to the future after several hours of gameplay, where my friend tripped over my controller cable and uplugged it, resulting in a loss of all my progress (about 6 hours worth). Couldn't be bothered to finish because I wasn't really enjoying myself to begin with.

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire - Least favourite generation paired with the easy-mode difficulty made me lose interest fast.

Dark Souls 2 - Shitty button delay and unfair difficulty curve.

My friend had a 1981 candy red Camaro. I'm not much of a car person, but it looked pretty nice.

He traded it for a 2006 Jetta.

lol what a moron

81 was the last year for that sweet body style
bruh
Second gen 'maros were fucking eyesores.

camaros are just ugly cars overall

i just see the second and third gens to be the best ones. before they became a woman's car.

ultimately they were just uglier firebirds though
turd gens are p. alright, I really like the last couple years of 90 to 92.
They're very redneck stigmatized though.... but not quite as bad as a trans am or firebird.

yeah thats true. fortunately i dont care, cuz the people who remember that stigma are a few generations ahead of everyone i drive around in my trans am with.

up here theres actually more of a stigma for pakis and shit to drove firebirds. tho that was in the early 2000s, since then its died down. pontiac was a lot more popular in canada.

the only reason to vote trump was to accelerate the extinction of humanity. glad to see we're right on track.
