It would be a shame to visit Hades without tasting those lips.

Gaming / Re: E3 2018 Thread« on: June 12, 2018, 08:39:48 AM »Nah it's just good for sales lmao. I'm not claiming Nioh 2 or TES VI will be great games, we have no info. I think they will be good games, but I can't know until they show gameplay. Nothing wrong with announcing the game is coming though.I don't see how, confirmation that a sequel is being made always builds huge excitement for it.But that's what I'm saying it's so early in development they probably don't want to do that. well it can make a game worse. thats whats wrong with it. 517

why couldn't they have killed zavala instead
although cayde had become the most insuferable due to his popularity 518

I imagine explaining your furry phase to pretty much anyone is probably more difficult.

Gaming / Re: E3 2018 Thread« on: June 11, 2018, 09:52:13 PM »Well jeez with this logic they might as well walk past the stage with a cardboard sign that says Nioh 2 on it lmao Tell me that wouldn't be hype as fuck. No one would see it coming. 524
Gaming / Re: E3 2018 Thread« on: June 11, 2018, 09:51:38 PM »But that's what I'm saying it's so early in development they probably don't want to do that. Then maybe it's too early to announce the game? There's a good video on that subject actually, how games are announced too early and how it actually can make a game worse. I'll see if I can find it. Quote There are exemptions to what can typically be a shady practice. Yeah of course, I'm not offended by TES or Nioh CGI trailers, they just didn't do anything for me. 525
Gaming / Re: E3 2018 Thread« on: June 11, 2018, 09:47:25 PM »I don't think of it that way. E3 is something they might not have anything ready for it but they want to let people know they're making the game. It's a good way to build excitement.Nioh is made by Japanese people😏I mean Death Stranding didn't really show too much gameplay, if any. I doubt it's gonna a walking simulator like everybody was spamming in the twitch chat lmao. How is that better? They accomplish the same thing. 526

I'd rather the developers come on-stage and get excited about announcing it. CGI trailers are usually just misleading and a waste of money. 528

Yeah, and I'm sure it'll be good, but I don't care about CGI trailers as they don't do anything for me and thus don't impact the scores I give these conferences. 529

I doubt it's gonna a walking simulator like everybody was spamming in the twitch chat lmao. Well it's not just about gameplay. The trailer itself was the most captivating thing I've seen from this E3, easily. As long as you have a unique trailer and not some schlocky seen-it-before nonsense, I'm game. I've never played Resident Evil but their trailer was super interesting, too. These Japs just know what they're doing. 530
Gaming / Re: E3 2018 Thread« on: June 11, 2018, 09:22:14 PM »If they're anything like their predecessors they'll be great games. There was also no reason to believe we'd get a sequel for Nioh, there's been tons of times games like this don't get sequels due to all sorts of issues. I judge these conferences on two things: format and the games they show. Bethesda had a garbage format and I didn't care for anything they showed besides Doom 2, which again was just a cinematic trailer. I think it's cool that there's a Nioh 2 coming but I don't really care for CGI trailers when a simple announcement would have been just as hype. 531

Shadows Die Twice, Spider-man, and Death Stranding were the stand-outs for me.

I'm sorry but I just don't care for CGI trailers. Show me gameplay or come on stage and announce something.

Death Stranding saved this conference. That was the most captivating thing I've seen at E3. It's all MGSV, though.

I love the aesthetic but the gameplay just looks like everything else.
