btw, thanks for helping me out with the photo memories thing. i did end up forgetting to talk to impa about the memories lol
it's funny cuz the last time i talked to her i didn't have the master sword. now, i talked to her and she mentioned me having the sword again. i was like oh damn i haven't talked to her in a longass time lol
no problem buddy. that was the first memory i got and there was really no way you could have missed it so i knew you mustve forgot something.

IS anyone else just a little disappointed you can't ride Farosh like Goku rides Shenlong at the end of GT?

Honestly I wasn't expecting much in terms of story to begin with. LoZ has always been telling the same story in a different way, a high-fantasy iron age adventure in different settings (with exceptions to OoT/MM.) The game clearly chooses to focus on its gameplay instead, which I'm hoping marks a change in the industry to start making them fun again.
This game was the first "See that mountain in the distance? You can go to it." game that kept its promise. It was what I was expecting The Phantom Pain to be. And like Turkey said, the game chooses to tell smaller stories more frequently, which makes the world feel autonomous and alive. Riding up to a warm stable to get some rest during a cold night only to start a conversation with a random reporter who has been struggling to find the mysterious stalhorse that's been spotted north of the campsite guarding ancient ruins is something special, especially when you can completely miss that quest by simply making your way to the next settlement.

just got my third divine beast completed.
i feel like i'm one of the only people progressing quickly but not rushing through the main story. the exploration has been where i spent most of my time.

Anyone else really enjoy Kass's presence in the game? His accordion blends well with the stable themes and his appearance near shrines and side quests is pretty cool. Plus he's just a cool looking Rito.
have you done his shrine quest thingies yet? i haven't attempted them since they seem too hard lol
like, the one where you have to find something with a crown of bones? idk something like that
yeah, there are dozens throughout hyrule he helps you with
some of them are pretty hard, yeah. the one in kitano bay in particular took me awhile to figure out.
speaking of shrines, have you done the fateful stars one? the one in korok forest
i was thinking it'd be something like a square since it gives you 4 balls, but i can't find anything that might be the constellation it's talking about
the patterns on the wall have something to do with it. that's all i'm going to say. it's a bitch, i know.

So how do you guys feel about people DDOSing a reviewer who gave it a 7/10?
how do you think we feel about it
jesus what a loaded question
it's not even loaded, but ok.
sure it is. honestly im drawing blanks on what kind of response you expected from that question. maybe if you had phrased it in a way that didn't look like you were trying to start shit...

How are the ports of Ocarina/Majora's on the Wii-U? This game has rekindled my interest in playing the series.

Am I doing something wrng with this Super Gut Check thing? I'm barely pullinjg 300 rupees every run.
Climbing gear + at least 2 stamina meters?
I go up and to the right for the first silver rupee, stand at the edge of the top to get stamina back, then paraglide to the center silver rupee and the left silver rupee, then climb over farther to the left to grab the gold, then I hop up to the top.
Check out one example:
This is almost exactly what I do, but I pause at the top after the first silver rupee (you can stand up as long as you don't run up and trigger the win animation). He also misses a silver rupee when he first paraglides down; it's right around the "corner" of the mountain before the landing spot. Once you practice it a couple times it should become a lot easier. Have some stamina regen food on hand as a safety net. Don't worry about time; you can crawl instead of jump for longer stretches and still be done in plenty of time.
I can record my method (which is better than the one posted here) if I can figure out how to record. Or I can just have my wife record it sometime tomorrow.
Yeah I have full climbing gear set and 2 full bars of stamina. I'll have to try your method if you decide to post it.

Just got unlocked the final memory. Good stuff.
Do you get something cool from Impa when you find all of them?
I haven't gone back to her yet, but I don't think so. I think the reward is just seeing the story.
Well she gave you the Champion Tunic upon finding the first one so naturally I assumed something equally as good would be at the end of the quest. Let us know if she does give you anything (I'd rather not know what it is).

What about Hightail Lizards?
Those are a pain. I just put them on my slate sensor and ran around fields.
I don't have a picture of them yet, sadly.
You can drop one from your inventory and take a quick picture. If you're quick enough you can pick it up again. It helps to do it facing the corner of a room.
I'll give it my best shot. Kind of dumb you have to take a picture of an item you already acquired.
