I wish Trevorrow was on this one. He really impressed me with Jurassic World 2. Would've been much better than JJ, IMO.
Really? I heard it was awful.
Yeah, I don't know what people are on. I guess I went in expecting a monster movie rather than a realistic dinosaur movie. There are several shots that just made me go, "Wow, this is phenomenal." Colin only wrote the film AFAIK, so to speak on that, the pacing was a bit off (not as bad as the Casino from TLJ, mind you), but his characters felt complex and realistic. Great banter, cool interactions. There are a few that, when you first see them, you think "Oh, it's going to be that [insert stereotype here]." but they end up actually being pretty interesteing. The humour is here, and lacked the "current-year" element Disney has been pushing. I don't know, it felt a lot better than the first Jurassic World and genuinely made me desire a Star Wars film where Rey was written by Trevorrow. Beyond the dumb premise of the film is something I think would age MUCH better than, say, Doctor Strange or The Force Awakens were it not for the general opinion on the premise of a Jurassic World sequel.

there's no advice you could give to a 20-something that he hasn't already thought to himself at least once
people like to say teenagers think they know everything, but if you think about it, in a lot of ways, they really do
you get stupider with age starting at age 20
You don't lose intelligence unless somebody's hitting you over the head with a brick or some kind of brain deteriorating disease. And supposedly you gain slightly more intelligence over the years, especially as your brain is still growing during teenage and adult years. The only difference is living longer, and depending on your life experiences, you can become a wiser and more mature person.
IQ actually drops with age though past 25 unless you remain active and eat alkiline forming foods

Holy shit dude, how has that thing not melted?
It's most likely just a programming issue with Speccy. I would have noticed a burning hole in my floor if it was 110° celsius.
Still, it doesn't really explain why I can't get a consistent 60+ FPS on D2, 1080p on the absolute lowest settings.
Is this your first time running d2 or have you been playing it?
I've been playing it for 3 weeks or so.
That's weird, some games are poorly optimized on different builds but if you weren't having problems before I'm not sure what's happening.
Any driver updates recently?
It's been running this was since the beginning.
Is it the only game that does this?
Yeah, pretty much. Every other game I can turn the settings down all the way and get rock-solid +60FPS.

Yes.

i'm going to be honest, i've never before seen that happen with a motherboard and the rest of your temps look fine too.
is the inside of your case filled with dust?
i'll take a look tomorrow, but i don't think so and don't see any reason why it would be.
in my experience dust will find its way in whether you want it to or not and the only thing i can think of off the top of my head is that you might have some clogged fans
Fans are clear, no dust, no wires. I let the computer cool down overnight, but when I turned it on this morning my mobo is still showing a 110 degrees. I have a lot of things plugged into the USB ports and such, but that shouldn't be a problem because that's what the mobo is capable of, right?

I've been playing Destiny 2 on the lowest settings and can still hardly manage 60FPS consistently. I'm not sure what the problem is but I suspect it's the multiple monitor setup. I thought it would be my CPU slowing me down but apparently it's running fine. What do you guys think? Should my mobo be that hot? What can I do?

The only issue he had was that the music he did didn't "feel" like Halo, I've always felt like this was the dumbest thing people could say, because what "feels" like Halo is arbitrary and impossible to determine. Beyond that, Halo 4 is a very different game narratively to the original 3, and it needed a new sound to establish that. Davidge's score was incredibly inspired and set the tone perfectly for 343's vision. Keep in mind this was when 343 still had balls and aritistic integrity before trying to appease Original Trilogy faggots. I still maintain that Halo 4 has the best campaign of all Halo games in terms of overall artistic merit. It was used pretty terribly in-game for sure, but I can't really levy that against him.

It's worth taking into consideration that he's been the common denominator in all his previous failed living experiences. You guys might be best friends now, but given a few months together you could very easily get under each other's skin seeing one another almost 24/7. I know I feel that way after 2-3 days in the same house with my best friends of a similar amount of time. I really need my alone time.
Beyond that, though, it sounds like it scares you a bit, considering you've been comfortable where you are for so long, which tells me that it's probably a good opportunity to grow a bit as a person. I would definitely look into how your financial aid works more just in case there's something you're overlooking -- who knows, you could be missing important information that might not allow for you to move out.

Broly is the epitome of what Dragon Ball is. He's a roided-out Chad fucking shit up mindlessly. People complaining about him are fooling themselves into thinking this series is something it's not.

Bungie is still a good company.
I would love to work for Bungie at some point. They consistently have a fantastic art department.
I don't think there's a developer who's even close to their level in that respect. Bungie's main problems are: - poor writing - poor management (time, production, etc.) They can fix the writing fairly easily but until Destiny has run its course the management aspect will always be irreversibly damaged. The engine they're working with, the speedbumps they hit in the early parts of D1's development... these issues are still being experienced today.

I don't hate Broly as much as some people but I really was looking forward to seeing someone new for a change. I suppose Toriyama will change a lot about his character, essentially making him a new character anyway.
I still cannot get over how bad that poster is, though. Everyone looks horrible, Vegeta more than the others. It's like bad fan art.

speaking of anime movies, theres gonna be a little busters movie (my favorite anime) which focuses on my favorite character
i really wish i could watch it
Yeah, it'll be coming out in America shortly after the Japanese release in December. Also you can watch the remastered versions of the original Broly film, Bardock the Father of Goku, and Fusion Reborn in American theatres during the next couple of months.

She has to like ACDC, Tarantino movies, Star Wars, and let me tell her naughty things
okay roman
I understand the want to have things in common with a potential partner, but I've found that the differences between people actually makes conversation more interesting. Like it's nice to have those points of similarity, but music taste and especially movie taste? I feel like there's nothing there that's a deal breaker really.
That's in response to both of you but I included Verb because I wanted his take on the subject.
It's a balancing act. The evolutionary advantage to having a partner is that you effectively have two brains to solve problems with. If the two parties are too similar, the second brain is redundant. If the two parties are too different, common ground, trust and rational compatibility can be hard to manage. Statistically speaking though, couples with more similarity have an easier time staying together.

Whoever wins France Vs. Belgium will win the cup. I'm pretty sure it will be France but Mbappe needs to show up to get past that strong defensive.

Is free-range farming a cow for milk / cheese okay?
nope, because that cow's milk is still not really for you to consume, and the cow itself still does not exist for you to exploit, even if you treat it as nicely as possible
i'd have to concede that it's much less shitty to do it that way (or at least, the idea of it is), but it's still highly unnecessary
how do you feel about free range chickens for eggs?
i feel like "free range" in general is a meme used to obfuscate what actually goes on, just to reassure people and make them feel like they're not actually doing anything unethical
good article on the subject that will be disregarded as biased and non-factual
okay then how do you feel about farmers that raise chickens like any other pet and sell the eggs
