fire emblem doesn't count because its absolute trash

pokemon

and fire emblem warriors looks sick

-orochimaru's plan is coming together ... from what i can gather, itachi is one of, if not, the strongest member of the akatske, and orochimaru can't square up to him. he needs the sharigan and the hakegenkai (?) of the uchiha clan, which is why he needs sasuke and his abilities and will likely pull a captain ginyu with him
i believe you mean Kekkei Genkai

the kekkei genkai of the uchiha clan is the sharingan

likewise, the kekkei genkai of the hyuga clan is the byakugan

yes that is what i mean

but the uchihas have another part to their kekkei genkai that is required to survive one of itatchi's juijutsu... kakashi wasn't supposed to be able to endure it because he didn't have it, despite having the sharingan

none of those seem like games i can really lose myself in. save mm but i want to play that on my n64 the way the nintendo gods intended
I'd at least look into ALBW if you're looking to lose yourself.

Handhelds aren't really "lose yourself" consoles in general—they're pick-up-and-play time-wasters by nature. That's how I always saw it, at least. There are exceptions, of course, but yeah. ALBW is your best bet.

i would, but that art style looks dreadful

Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates/Echoes (in that order). I say Awakening first since it's a good introduction to the series. Then Fates/Echo's are one going off on its own thing and a remake of an old one.

Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

Persona Q

Zelda Link Between Worlds

who's the protag of awakening

i've always found assassin's creed games to have a 100% accurate representation of the historical time period they're set in, and seeing as i'm a historian without a degree, i would trust my opinion

Vertigo, huh? I've actually heard of that, but I always imagined it was just balance issues

what do you think caused your vertigo

i don't know what could possibly cause it, but I've had a really shitty week and I'm prone to depressive tendencies and anxiety. That's why I was interested when you mentioned it could be mental earlier in the thread.
Well it has to do with damage to the inner ear, so if you got head trauma or something you might wanna be extra cautious for additional damage.

But tell me about your week, why was it so shitty?

I don't remember any blows to the head recently.

And it's kinda personal, but let's just say I was put in a dark place Monday (the lowest I've been in about a year, exactly) that just put a negative spin on my attitude for the rest of the week. Following that, I got a ticket Tuesday morning on my way to work for expired plates, even though my dealer told me he paid for 2 year renewal on them when I bought it. Then, I had to stay an extra 2 hours after work concluded to get an emissions test that I had to pay for becauae my plates weren't renewed. That's a big deal for me because I live an hour and a half away from my job and I needed to study for my exam the following day. And then, after I finally get out of that mechanic shop, my car breaks down in the middle of the highway, calling for a tow and 1000 dollar repair job that I can't afford.

And the cherry on top is, my boss was sent to the hospital this morning too. Heart attack. And I'm supposed to take over his responsibilities when he can't, but I'm incapable of doing that becauae of my own situation.

It's just been a garbage week. Nothing I can't handle, though. It was possible I wasn't being emotionally honest with myself and was hurting more than I was letting on, and I do have anxiety, so I thought maybe that was it.
Damn, dude, I'm not sure how I'd handle that kind of stress.

How do you vent it out?

I channel my angers and frustrations into my work, or if I can't do that (be it a weekend or I'm at home or something), I just try to force some creativity out of it... I've always found that the greatest artists are those who are enduring suffering, and I feel like that's the best way to get it out of your system. Kind of lame, but yeah, a lot of my time is spent drawing, or painting, or playing the piano. Doesn't always work but that's my method.

I don't know, the alternative is to be useless and mope around all day. Fuck that.

also i've been wondering where kakashi got his sharigan from, it nevver really dawned on me until he met with itachi that he shouldn't have one

he doesn't seem to have any sort of guilt when he's with sasuke so i don't think he killed an uchiha to take it... he probably stole one from one of the guys itachi killed

10 bucks it's sasuke's dad or something, just cuz it's naruto

made some decent progress

jiraiyah and naruto just recruited tsunade and defeated orochimaru and kabuto

some things

-can't tell if itachi is cool or not - we'll see
-kakashi is my favourite character now (i've just really taken a liking to him)
-jiraiyah is another character I've really taken a liking to
-tsunade would be cool if she wasn't a whore
-orochimaru's plan is coming together ... from what i can gather, itachi is one of, if not, the strongest member of the akatske, and orochimaru can't square up to him. he needs the sharigan and the hakegenkai (?) of the uchiha clan, which is why he needs sasuke and his abilities and will likely pull a captain ginyu with him
-naruto's dad is def the 4th hokage. the 3rd sanin is tsunade so that makes the 4th hokage (and kakashi's master) naruto's dad

favourite characters list
3. orochimaru
2. jiraiyah
1. kakashi

When was the last time you had a checkup?

last year i think
Have you ever been to a psychiatrist?

they're different from psychologists in that they prescribe medication, right?

if that's the case, i've been to counsellors/psychologists, but not to a psychiatrist.
