I had a good amount of fun with it. Lacked that oomph the first 2 had, but Sucker Punch is still a very talented studio. Haven't heard much from them in recent years (and why they're not the ones doing the Spider-man game instead of Insomniac, I'll never know).

i guess the sentiment is coming from their flawed understanding of racism

that
racism = prejudice + power

blacks believe they have no/little power and are therefore incapable of being racist

but my contention is that there should be no connotational difference between racism and prejudice, they should be used interchangably, and you should be censured for being either

i dont mind one off filler episodes, i just dont like filler arcs because they tend to be extremely boring

like garlic jr for example

see, i don't mind filler like that (the one episode where they spend the entire time trying to unmask kakashi)

kinda funny

kakashi best character
oh, i'm glad you caught that one

i was afraid that your thing may have considered that filler worth skipping

i actually didn't skip any filler until i got the the mini arc right after that episode (with the village of tea or whatever)

also im pretty sure its the nicotine that gives you the buzz, not tabacco
duh?

the words are interchangeable in the purpose of conversation - we both know what the other is talking about

this is why I say I have higher intelligence than you

arent you always harping on verbatim's habit of "changing definitions" maybe you should just call a crow a crow.

i'm very secure in my own understanding of my intelligence and skills.
He changes definitions to win arguments

I "changed" the definition out of nothing - it didn't hinder or hurt me

so you admit he wins arguments

interesting

you also shouldnt be doing your job under the influence
Under the influence of tobacco?

By the time the cigarette is over, I take another minute or two to chill, and I go back inside, the buzz is over - but the relaxative effects remain.

you just said youre talking about smoking marijuana

i said you possess average intelligence

which you took as an insult because you probably think you possess above average intelligence

not my fault you have both a superiority complex and superiority complex denial
I do

as I said, people like PSU or CMD have average intelligence

people like me, you, verb, even challenger have higher than average

average intelligence means you watch football and go to barbecues with the cuzins

i disagree. you are the benchmark for average intelligence because you are able to grasp who is smarter and who is dumber than you. you also possess just enough intelligence to understand semi-complex problems but lack the reasoning and problem solving skills to effectively tackle them.

you know youve lost the argument when you bring up the other guy's haircut
you know youve lost the argument when you start personally attacking someone, AKA you and verb four pages ago

I'm allowed some personal attacks too

far better ones as well

lmao

i never attacked you

and even if i did, it was relevant to the conversation, like being lazy. verbs haircut has no bearing on the conversation.
Lazy = attack on my character

what would be lazy is me quitting my job because it's hard, not me finding a way to make it less hard

no, theyre both lazy

and its not meant as an attack, its a description.

must be a new development - he was whining about jobs being SO HARD TO FIND a week ago

see if you keep this one for more than another week, you won't with your shitty attitude

unless you're a janitor or some shit and don't have to talk to people haha

hes had a job for several months as far as i know. he works at a record store.

and i generally find when people refer to their opponent's character rather than their argument for any reason at all, they tarnish their own. yeah, you may not be using ad hom, but its still an intellectually dishonest attempt to smear your opponent's credibility.

wow look at this dumb af lazy kid

smoking doesn't make you lazy

your reasons for smoking are what make you lazy
so in your mind I should either quit my job or hate my job to the level that I don't even want to go in, and be in a shitty mood while I'm there - in a job where having a positive mood is directly correlated to your performance/pay

makes total sense my man

youre paid to work for whatever your hours are

not suck cancer into your lungs

grow up, work sucks for everyone.
I'm paid to create a positive environment, meet customers' needs, and make sure they leave happy. My performance would be diminished if I had to work seven hours without a release.

And yeah, work sucks - exactly why LITERALLY every one of my coworkers and I take cigarette breaks.

you should be offered an unpaid half hour break every 5 hours of work

maybe thats not how it works in the US, but thats how it is here

that being said, i'm not going to condone your smoking habit no matter your reasoning
A half hour break? What the fuck am I going to do with all that time?

it's supposed to be your lunch break

Quote
And no lmao, we don't get that anyway.

can someone who doesn't work at a waffle house confirm

Quote
idc if you condone it, this argument is more about there being nothing wrong with knowingly, consensually poisoning your own body

no one is going to say there's anything wrong with it. we're just going to tell you you're an idiot.
We get a "break" whenever there's no customers in the store. That's when you eat, get on your phone, whatever

but that doesn't always happen

you can say "hey can you cover my tables while I go have a smoke?" -- totally understandable

if you say "hey can you cover my tables while I take a breather?" people will straight up get mad at you and probably tell a manager

you should have rights thay pertain to this sort of thing. i'm not an american citizen so i don't know, but if you're entitled to a break every X hours, take it and tell them to fuck off

for someone so concerned about standing up for the right thing at every turn and fighting for human rights, you seem pretty hesitant to exercise the constitutional rights youve already been granted
Because these "rights" (the right to take a break at work LMAO, apparently more important than the right for women to serve in combat roles) are meaningless compared to the ones I speak for. I could be the asshole who makes a big fuss so I can go outside and NOT smoke a cigarette every five hours. But as much as I hate utility based thinking, that's just not fucking worth it.

you know i agree with you on many of these sex based issues, right? dont lump me with other users just because i call you out on your stupidity.

if youre unwilling to exercise the rights you already have, then youre shit out of luck. either don't be a push over and take your breaks or work the full 7 hours if you have to.
or c) I could do what I and all of my coworkers enjoy, have a far more pleasant day, make tons of more money, and generally be a far more productive worker, ALL WHILE ignoring whiners on the internet

yeah, how about that one

whatever helps you maintain your delusion

and you are in absolutely no position to complain about whining

whatever you say o great potila
if your job gives special treatment to scumfuck smokers and allows them breaks, then everyone should be able to take breaks—and absolutely nobody should ever whine about it

if your job doesn't allow that, then you should immediately quit
and this is why you're unemployed

i say youre aggressively average in intelligence because of your verbiage and reasoning
Nah, someone with average intelligence is PSU or inglorious.

The only unintelligent person here is Jive.

And oh please, I have a better vocabulary than you. You just don't see me rattling off $5 words unless it can't be replaced by a $1 word - you know, like a non-annoying person?

you may have a larger vocab than i do (which is dubious at best) but no one more regularly misuses words than you do

and you unironically use "morally correct" in arguments

just
If I see a crow, am I going to dance around it and say "small omnivorous black bird" to not offend the crow lobby, or am I going to say fuck those people and say crow?

same thing with "morally correct" - I have never improperly used that phrase

i never said you used "morally correct" improperly. all i said was that you used it at all. it's like, an 11th grader's attempt at making an appeal to ethics. you sound terribly green when you use it.
