Yeah I know what you mean man. It's a weird feeling.
Yeah, and it's even weirder now too because I have a niece who's getting to be about the age I was when I discovered these books. But she's just a kid to me. I never considered myself a kid back then. Just one of those sensations people told you about when you were younger but are impossible to describe once you experience them.

Geoff Johns should stick to writing Flash and Green Lantern and massive cosmic event books imo
It's weird for us to actually agree on something.

I've been rereading this book series I read in the fifth grade called "Percy Jackson and the Olympians." It was the first book (or, series of books) I didn't want to throw at someone. And I read it at what ended up being a pretty pivotal time in my life.
Anyway. Flash forward to now. I'm rereading the first book of the series and realising I don't actually own the others, so I head off to my local book store to buy them. And I couldn't believe they were in the "Young Readers 9-12" section.
Just a weird feeling, I guess. I still think of myself as young, but to see something I treasured that much as a kid amongst all this other childish stuff was just unusual to me. I still feel like I'm that person I was in the fifth grade, but so much has changed...

I wouldn't let Geoff Johns anywhere near the Batman movie. Possibly the worst Batman writer of our time.

Shippuden has started off slower than I would have liked, but now that Itachi and Kakashi are gunna go head-to-head, it should pick up.

Kakashi is all me. He'd rather lose the fight then hear spoilers. Haha.
Gaara is kind of cool now, I guess. He probably got more development in the filler arcs I missed.
not really, he was only in the last filler arc iirc
Well he definitely doesn't seem evil anymore so that's quite the change.

Whenever I smell my father making his traditional Portuguese spice, I'm sent back to my early childhood. It's a very pungent smell, and almost... cheese-y.

What exactly are the symptoms?
Severe headache, mild nausea, feel like my head is on King Kai's planet with 10x gravity, exaggerated movements, slowed perception and reaction time.
That's brutal. Any medication available to lessen the effects?
I got a prescription but it's more a placebo than anything else. It doesn't help at all.

Your profile pic reminds me of that spider my friend found.
I can't figure out which of these two creatures is more disturbing.

Have you been using any drugs? Be honest.
Not in awhile. Like the last 2-3 weeks I've been too busy with exam study and work.

Glorious. Shida is the only animator worthy of drawing Frieza.

So I'm good to start Shippuden now? Just finished episode 135. Is there anything worthwhile in the filler?
i guess the last episode of filler because they include the mangas ending in that instead of doing the whole delay by a year thing with jiraiya i think
other than that i can't think of anything noteworthy
Episode 220?
if that's the last episode of the original anime i think that's it
Yeah, it's called "Departure" and it's the last episode on the wiki. Gotta be it.

Any idea what's going on?
No. He said it's pretty standard for vertigo to last anywhere between 5 and 10 days. If I get to next weekend with no improvement I'll go see a different doctor. I want to go see a therapist this week too because I have a sneaking suspicion it's stress-related.
