I appreciate their existence as a way to encourage experiencing a game in its entirety, but too often are there trophies that are just too grindy/tedious to obtain for me to care all that much about platinuming a game.
I've all but platinumed the first Ratchet & Clank on the HD Collection, because the game wants me to collect a million bolts without any bolt multipliers (because they weren't a thing in that game). There's actually a glitch that allows you to collect bolts indefinitely while remaining idle, but in order to collect a million, I'm gonna have to let it sit there for an uncomfortably long amount of time. It's just dumb.
Not to mention, sometimes there are trophies that you can only achieve through netplay. These ones are stupid, because game communities dwindle over time, and eventually, no one is ever going to reliably be able to do them all—especially if you don't have any friends. Or if you have friends, but you don't want to bother them with this stupid meaningless task.
the only games i ever felt handled the trophies idea well was the infamous games. they just encourage you to play the game in its entirety.

just a suggestion, but i think a little length added to your videos would go a long way. i like your commentary but it feels too short sometimes. even if that meant more time between uploads. maybe including all your attempts to take down a boss or something.
i know its a bit more work but thats my 2 cents.

just watched your sif video.
i think sif is the best designed boss in the game. from both a design and thematic perspective. you have to remember that when you blow up a character model, the animations have to be refined to the degree that you increased its size. this, and the fact that sif was all hand-animated (obviously, because no wolf could have realistically done the jumps he does or whatever) so believably, makes him a really impressive piece of programming. i'd explain why he's cool thematically too but spoilers. i wish they would have increased his max hp and made the threshold for his limping a lot larger, though. a lot of people have missed that little detail.
plus. that music.
he's not the best boss in the game, coneptually or mechanically, but he's my favourite.

honestly a percy jackson series would be pretty cool. the movies butchered it so badly.
i always liked it more than harry potter (even though i concede rowling is a far better writer), and i think the way the story is told would work better as a television series. especially for the first 5 books.
