seriously the halo 3 soundtrack is just 17 different interations of older songs, with varying degrees of certain instruments

You lookin to stir shit up, boy?

yeah, kinda

i also think that halo 4's soundtrack is criminally underrated, because the halo fanbase has a pretty narrow and childish understanding of music.

Marty had some good songs but he's a pretty shallow composer overall

getting rid of Davidge was a mistake, the only problem with the game's soundtrack was it's usage.
I find only 2 songs appealing in H4.  H2 and H3 by far have better soundtracks

that's because you want a bland soundtrack that invokes heroism and bravery with an overabundance of string and percussion, rather than a thematic and layered soundtrack that fits the darker tone of the new trilogy

halo 4's soundtrack is not only technically more impressive, it also suits its game far more than the other ones did. reach is pretty close, though.

Prehistoric

i haven't gone by that in years, how come you know me as that

i never interacted with you on bnet at all, either
You occasionally used Prehistoric during the lead-up to MGSV and directly after (back and forth with Snake and Eli). Just what I remember you as tbh

fair enough

looks like prehistoric is also somewhat popular

I change my name so often because I can, and as a result, lots of people know me as different names. I'm trying to figure out the most familiar one so I can stick to it.

I think Snake and Eli are the two big ones, but idk. What name do you know me as?

the dragon ball games used to have fun mini games in the loading screens.

Why the fuck does one need to ask a stranger for directions in an age where google maps, map phone apps, On Star, google earth, and satellites exist

some people dont have any of those
some people dont have phones
and god forbid people talk to and help each other out

the reason the n sane trilogy takes so long to load is because it loads the entire level before entry. in comparison, the originals only loaded the portion of the level in which crash was located, which was a really clever way of eliminating down time. given how impressive the game looks, i'm not sure why they wouldn't have adopted this loading method. especially since loading screens are a common problem with games today.

a speed runner can beat them game (just crystals, no gems) in roughly an hour, but there are over 14 minutes of loading screens. and you have to basically double that for gem play throughs.
