expecting PURE GARBAGE
If you are a Puritan I expect you to start hating it. But for me, it is a great movie that finally has its own soul like the Dark Knight.
It takes liberty in story and casting which I feel does the movie and the character great justice. After seeing enough comic based or book based movies failing due to hem trying to copy the books or try something else, I prefer this direction of keeping the spirit of the story alive but going in different creative direction.
comparing it to the dark knight is insulting and misleading
Obviously, both approach their characters differently, but both heavily deviate from their sources and try to create a movie that still captures the essence of the comics even if characters and other plot points are different.
they're not even comparable in terms of quality, and don't deserve to be compared to so casually a better example would be the winter soldier

Just 85hz, I think I can increase it to 120hz. There's no such thing as 1080p for a CRT the closest is 1920x1440, but I consider 1600x1200 to be the CRT equivalent of 1080p imo
1920x1440 is slightly better than 1080p you have an hd crt?

TennoGen is player made cosmetics. SO it's like $6 for a helmet. Also my dorm was so hot due to weather and the heater running, I started up Warfam to check something and next thing I new the screen was gone
Plat is still useful though. I just want the colour palettes.
Don't bother buying them all because there are a lot of copies. Your best bet is to find one or two with odd colors (like putple) that you really like, and just wait for the free holiday palettes
Yeah I just want Classic Saturated and Smoke. True black and a wide range of colours.

Did you just throw Johnny in there. The guy who basically just shit the whole series? Yeah, because we're supposed to start taking him seriously all of a sudden? It's insulting that they expect that. And the dialogue has always been anime-y. Raiden turning into a cyborg was weird but but not out of character, plus it was fucking sick.
1. The dialogue was never this bad. 2. Him being in the game at all is my problem. It negates the end of MGS2. MGS4 has a lot of strengths but you aren't bringing up any of them.

Really the only insulting thing was that fucking bike chase. That wasn't insulting at all. It was shitty, but it wasn't insulting. Mgs has always had cheese, and I really don't understand why people were insulted by it. It's always been campy, but it was done better in previous games. And I don't think anyone was insulted too much by the "cheese." As for the subtlety and character consistency, only Maryl(?) really changed. They didn't really treat her character with the respect I felt she deserved but I was hoping she'd get with snake in the end. - Raiden - Maryl - Zero - Paramedic - Johnny - Eva The insulting things are the over-dramatic anime-y dialogue, complete character personality changes (see above), and total lack of respect for what MGS2 and 3 established.

I never got the hate for mgs4, it was metal gear at its most outrageous.
It's story lacked the subtelty and character consistency the previous games had. as well as being pretty insulting to what had already been established. on top of that, there wasn't too much game to be played beyond the first 2 acts, and what's there beyond act 2 isn't very fun.

Why is the car in such a sorry state? I've only ever owned GM and I have had one single problem with my vehicle. When was the last time you brought it into the shop? Your mechanic should be doing a once over every time it's in. That's why the labour charge is so expensive.
