This game is a joke. How about instead of adding characters that should have been in the game to begin with and half-assed character costumes literally NO ONE cares about (Ribrienne is the most hated character in Dragon Ball), they fix the fact that
- Saiyan hair doesn't transform when they do despite that being the NUMBER 1 issue people had with the first game
- Canon characters' hairstyles aren't available in CAC and are relegated to cosmetic items that disappear when your character transforms
- Male Majin CAC brings nothing to the table and the only specific transformation available to them is one that renders all expression null
- There are multiple Saiyan transformations but one for each other race. Where's the 100% Full Power or Cooler Final Form transformation for Frieza? Furthermore, where's the Oozaru/SSG/SSB/SSJ4 transformation for Saiyans in the first place?
I don't think I'm asking for much here. Maybe with SSJ4, the Majin rework and Cooler FF I'm stretching the imagination, but transforming hairstyles were a thing in Ultimate Tenkaichi. SSG would only require an aura, hair, eye and (slight) build change. SSB would only require whatever SSJ transformations hairstyles they had to be blue instead of yellow. Oozaru could maybe inherit a few clothing items. Frieza already has his buff form in-game, just apply that to all Frieza CACs. Every earthling/saiyan's hairstyles are already in-game assets that need only be applied to CAC.
I haven't touched this game in months because it's so lazy when it comes to polish and content. I'll gladly pay for stuff every couple of months, but you can't just take a bunch of assets that were already in the game or took you 5 minutes to create, group them together into an update, and charge people 10 dollars for access. This is so bad. FUCK.
you'll probably have to wait for a xenoverse 3 for anything like that. the devs even said themselves that 2 is more like a 1.5 and you should wait for 3 if you want a real sequel iirc.

I'm giving my neice my old Wii-U because I think she'll love this game to pieces. She's a big fan of Minecraft and BOTW has some similar elements that I think will help her latch on. She's been playing straight for a few hours now and it's really rewarding to watch her experience (probably) my favourite game of all time for the first time. Her reading comprehension could be a little better too considering she's in the fifth grade so if I can help her in that way at the same time it's a great situation. I've actually been watching her play more than playing myself. I hope she isn't turned off too much by the combat because that'll be a relatively new frontier of gaming for her. Only Nintendo could make such a fantastically great game that every demographic could enjoy.

Dice was rushed to make BF4 because of the release of the Xbox One and PS4 which caused issues and another studio made Hardline, not Dice
So what's the excuse for Battlefield 1? Hardline being handled by another studio is something I didn't know.

You're equating small or even indie developers to Nintendo? Well, the comparison is also true for some bigger companies. But Nintendo is actually a bunch of smaller development teams working on different intellectual properties that share assets, including workers, so... yeah, I'm equating them. Whether it looks better than the last Mario or not isn't up for debate. Good, because I'm not debating that. It will look better. If you're an animator your job is to make the game look great. Period. If you're not interested in doing that, don't do it. My point is that the game won't look better because of the hardware limitations, so the effort could be better used somewhere else. Regarding your other posts, I think you have a very pessimistic view about game developers, specifically those that develop shooters.
Maybe, but I think I'm just being realistic. The last couple of years have really shaken my faith in video game development, and every passing E3 is just another nail in the coffin.

OP: 3-hearts, scavenger vegan, no Champion Buff run. I'm not allowed more than 3 hearts (no bonus hearts) and I can only eat meat if I find it, I can't kill animals for it. I'm not allowed to use any of the Champion abilities.

When any of the Divine Helms are equipped with Ancient Cuirass and Ancient Greaves (All armor items need to be upgraded level 2 ★★ or above), you’ll also trigger a set bonus, Ancient Proficiency, which increases the attack power of Ancient or Guardian series weapons. All of them will increase guard from ancient energy attacks, while defense level and required materials for level-up are the same as those of Ancient Helm. Enemies' remaining HP/full HP will also be visible like the Champion's Tunic.
Additionally, there are specific effects for each item:
- Vah Rudania Divine Helm: Flame Guard (Lv1)
- Vah Ruta Divine Helm: Swim Speed Up (Lv1)
- Vah Naboris Divine Helm: Electricity Resistance (Lv1)
- Vah Medoh Divine Helm: Cold Resistance (Lv1)

I never said individual hairs were a necessity. Well I never said that you did either, lol. But it's not like the effort of the animators detracts from the effort the other departments. What you're saying is akin to, "Well, it doesn't really matter what the art team / animation team is doing because it doesn't affect the other departments at all." I think it's pretty disingenuous to make that statement. On smaller teams especially, people will often have to jump from department to department at the behest of whatever the leads think needs to get done. That's how Bruce Strayley became (arguably) the most prominent director at Naughty Dog. He started off as an animator but quickly figured out how to work in multiple department where they needed help. Also, consoles holding games back shouldn't be a reason we have subpar looking games.
The next Mario game won't look better because the pores are visible, dude. My argument here is that people can always be doing something that both a) speaks to their vocation, and b) is tangibly beneficial to the game as a product.

I think Dice put a lot of care into Battlefield 1, considering their mess ups with 4. It's the game that made them what they are, so I think a lot of care and research went into BF1. Documentaries show as much. I think for the new CoD, a decent amount of care went into the Single Player bit of it. Idk about MP.
You're fooling yourself if you think Dice gives a fuck about anything outside of profit margins.
