My favourite part in the game is when a certain character *SPOILER* gets both his arms cut off and has to kill people with a sword in his teeth *SPOILER END*. ...Well, I liked that part. :c
Raiden became one of my favourite characters in MG because of this game.
That scene and the split-screen boss fight against Vamp and the GEKKOs redeemed him after MGS2.
I actually didn't mind him that much in MGS2, but yeah, MGS4 made him way more badass. Y'know, before Revengeance ruined him again.
"Killing is wrong though. Oh wait lemme just kill some more!"
Sam was awesome, though, in my opinion. He was like the new Liquid, who didn't give a shit. The original Liquid, not Ocelot's throat-cancerous manchild Liquid.
Yeah, Sam was pretty cool. From a gameplay perspective, Revengeance is actually more enjoyable than GoTP, IMO. But the story is just... ugh. It's the Attack of the Clones for Metal Gear.
I did like the Sunny cameo, though. Mostly because it fixed my opinion of her from MGS4 (I hated her a lot in that game).
I didn't mind her too much. I usually hate kids in fiction, but her shenanigans amused me once or twice, and I didn't notice her most of the time.
My biggest problem with her (and MGS4) is the character animations. They're all so overdone and weird. Every subtle motion is blown up to unrealistic proportions. Hell, even Snake pisses me off once in awhile. His slow crawling animation, while funny, is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

Nah.
I just think you're learning how easily you can troll this forum, due to your unique status as an individual.
Not sure if sarcasm...
But if not, thanks.
I'm not sure how that could be taken as sarcasm, but you're welcome.
Just the end bit of that sentence really. "due to your unique status as an individual."
People have thrown into the word unique into sarcasm before, and I failed to pick it up due to me having autism.
That's why I ask sometimes.
No, I used "unique status" because you definitely have a reputation around here, and that allows you to get away with certain types of trolling that someone else would get called out for.
Sorry for the confusion, though.
That's okay. Yeah I guess you can say I'm quite lucky.
If only there were more people on the site like you to be honest. It's the good kind of people that makes things enjoyable.
I flattered, honestly. I disagree with you, but I'm still flattered.
I mean, all it takes is one humbling trip to Serious where Meta, Gojira and Turkey make you feel intellectually inadequate to make someone nice, I suppose.
Meta is an idiot. Don't listen to him.
He's actually pretty intelligent, but he just uses ridiculously pretentious diction to the point that I honestly have no idea what the fuck he is saying.
Gojira and Turkey are actually really, really smart though. I would argue that Gojira is our smartest user, actually. Verbatim is up there, too, but I secretly think that Verbatim is an alt of Goji.
Verbatim is his own person. Gojira is nice. Turkey, don't really know him well.
As for Meta, he's not smart enough to let bygones be bygones.
He went far enough to say I'm a horrible person for wanting a mentally ill person put to sleep because she microwaved a kitten.
And that's not just a kitten to me. Pets have always been family to me and I respect animals more than humans. Meta on the other hand has no idea and of course contributes to the majority of the cancerous human race.
I still have my suspisions about Goji and Verb. Who cares about Meta? Don't worry about it, dude. You have your opinion and he has his.

That's Arky. The other idiot not to listen to. I have all the idiots in the bin anyway.
Meh. It didn't phase me in the least, I just pointed it out because he said he doesn't hate anyone.

If I had been two seconds too slow, my post would have been overshadowed by Hitler.
And that would have been unacceptable.
Yeah, that reference placement was fantastic. It's stuff like that that just makes giggle uncontrollably.

The problem with pre-ordering is that the whole industry does it, so you saying "pre-ordering one game is the same as pre-ordering 10, dumbass" really doesn't make much sense. The amount of time between games does matter because it's a more accurate way of judging the game's content quantity. A game that has been developed over the course of five years is far more likely to have more content than one that took a year to make. Nice job completely ignoring all of my reasoning for pre-ordering, though. I'm not surprised, you're probably the most stubborn user on this site. Jon Snow (book version) mentally and physically. I don't think I've ever identified with a character better.
That's interesting. I would say physically I resemble Jaime Lannister, but I didn't want it to seem like I was bragging or something. Because, he's really good looking (in the books and the show).
lucky
Jon Snow is no slouch either, mate. Kit Harrington > Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (I know you said book version, but still. Any son of both Stark and Targaryen must be ridiculously good looking.)

4/5 Stars - A great game for people with no hands! - May 30th, 2009
I love this game. I don't have any hands, so I was worried the game may be difficult, similar to every other game I've ever played without hands. Boy, was I wrong! This game is 90-100% cutscenes (which are in-game movies that serve, in this case, to further complicate the story.) You don't need hands at all to watch cutscenes, unless you want to skip it, but that will just shorten the wait til the inevitable bad parts of this game (see below). The story is good. It's about a space pirate named One-Eyed Snakes. He's 1000 years old and has robots in his blood to keep him alive. There's a lot of other crazy stuff going on, but I don't want to type it out because I didn't understand it and also I have no hands. My favourite part in the game is when a certain character *SPOILER* gets both his arms cut off and has to kill people with a sword in his teeth *SPOILER END*. I can relate. Except I didn't kill anyone.
Now for the negative aspects, every once in awhile you will be forced to move Snake around to another area. This is almost always easy to accomplish using your toes. But on occasion, you will have to use some kind of weapon or other multi-button task, I usually let my brother do this even though he only has the left half of his brain. This is irritating if you don't have a brother, but a minor quibble as it is only a small part of the game. Overall I give it two thumbs up. Painfully true, in all honesty.

Jenna Maroney + Azula
Are you male or female?
Male. I'm talking personality-wise.
That's what I always assumed. But between Azula and Maroney, I was conflicted.

Again, reputation and trust mean nothing. It doesn't give you a reason to pre-order. That isn't why I pre-order. That's some justification I use for pre-ordering, but it isn't why. Pre-ordering off of faith is just blind consumerism and is a part of the reason so much bullshit exists in the industry today. Agreed. Yet you're still pre-ordering games. I'm pre-ordering two games out 20 that I'll most likely buy if they get good reviews. Rocksteady hasn't released an Arkham game in nearly 5 years, and the last Metal Gear on consoles was released in 2008. That was 7 years ago. Developers don't give a shit what you think of them whilst you're forking over your money to them for their games. Publisher =/= Developer. I reckon any good game studio is chocked full of developers who care whether or not their product is being enjoyed. Making a few good games doesn't magically make them immune to bad games, bullshit and fuck ups. It gives them more credibility is what I'm saying. Me pre-ordering MGSV is well worth the potential for broken-ness in the game because I get to play it instantly, as soon as it's released. And because of GZ, PW, SE or SoL, I'm inclined to believe that the quality of the game will remain among the average of the series. It's a risk versus reward scenario, and I think that the developer's past gives them some credibility to rely on. Do you understand, or are you going to keep saying "you're apart of the problem you degenerate fuck, blah blah blah"? You're a big MGS fan. Just look at GZ. It's a blatantly cheap £30 demo money grab, which is corporate bullshit, because they know they can do it and you'll eat it up like the blind and faithful consumer you are. I didn't pre-order Ground Zeroes, though. My only real retort for this is the fact that TPP still hasn't come out, which means they probably need more funds to keep the game's quality up. Plus, the change from traditional MGS to TPP might have been too jarring for most fans, but this is just poor arguing on my part. Thanks for being a part of the reason why games are broken and pre-order "bonus" cut content bullshit exists
I'm not, but you're welcome.

Name two fictional characters that you identify with (can be mentally or physically, but state which one).
Mentally, I think I would be Naked Snake + Dick Grayson. Naked Snake, because I don't take things too seriously, I'm extremely loyal and I've always been pretty awkward with girls (in the same way that Snake is. It doesn't interfere with his mission, but he isn't as smooth as SS). Dick Grayson because I'm not the brightest candle on the cake but I'm not an idiot either. I also have a thing for redheads, and I'm an acrobat.
Your turn.

I'll just put this here, because I've already stated my point to the OP. The fact that you only preorder to preload games shows that you don't care about the situation that is seriously effecting the gaming industry. Continue to waste your money. You're part of the problem.
Deal with it.You seem to be painting me with the same brush you do everyone else, which I resent. I'll show you why. So, I'm apart of the problem because I trust talented, honest, trust-worthy developers (who are everyday people, like you) with my money upfront so I can play their masterpiece of blood, sweat and tears before anyone else I know? I'm part of the problem because I pre-order games that come out once or twice a platform generation, (MAYBE)?! That makes sense to me!Get your head out of your ass, kid. Your self-righteous bullshit doesn't work on me. Considering the fact that games are being released in an unfinished state these days, yeah. No arguments here about the state of most games these days. Which is why I leave it up to reputation and faith in the developer. All pre-ordering does is show developers that you'll buy a game regardless. What a surprise! We agree again. Who gives a shit if it's insulting? It's true. 1: I give a shit. I don't like to insult people who go to work everyday and put their best foot forward, craft a genuinely well-developed game, full of passion, only to be painted over with the same brush that the we ( the consumers) use to colour developers like Bungie, DICE, Ubisoft, etc. But hey, continue to be a part of the problem. If spending $120 over the course of 7-10 years makes me apart of the problem, I really couldn't give less of a fuck.

It's kind of scary how true that is. Not just because of other people out there who have it worse than you, but also because if how insignificant we are in the universe.
This is basically my motto. Nothing we ever do will ever amount to anything. Even the most significant action taken by humanity will scarcely make the face of God twitch.
