yeah, that's about what i expected. i've bought the amiibo cards because nintendo isn't making the amiibos i want, so they wouldn't be making any money off the product as it stands -- why pay 60 bucks to someone other than nintendo for the majora's mask toy when i can spend 10 on the card that lets me get the stuff i want? i'm okay with admitting i'm wrong. i'd rather not give nintendo my money (and thus let them know that i think what they're doing is okay). but some of the exclusive stuff is too cool to pass up.

Question for you. Considering you're not a huge fan of Nintendo's Amiibo business plan (if I remember correctly) but also don't like """modding,""" what's your stance on the 3rd-party Amiibo Cards people have been selling that allow players of BOTW access to the exclusive outfits like the Fierce Diety set, Epona, and Skyward Sword outfit?

It describes me in the sense that they’re all so broad that basically anyone could see aspects of their personality in any of them. The fact that people think that an arbitrary timespan you were born somehow determines your personality, kind of boggles my mind.
the institution of education and the age barrier between grades could very easily influence personalities, especially given the social advantage the older children have over the younger ones that would affect things like self-esteem.

One issue I have with Gerudo is the sand seals, which, I know I praised before, but the ones you find in the wild are both so fucking slow AND more difficult to sneak up on than they should be. Additionally, the ones you can rent go away after like 5 minutes of gameplay or warping, where they should function similarly to your horse (including coming when called if you ask me). Everywhere else in the game I refuse to fast travel but in the Gerudo desert it feels necessary.
Something else that seems like a missed opportunity is access to Gerudo Town without the disguise. After completion of the missions it feels kind of pointless to have to dress up as Twink Link to get into the town, especially since 70% of the occupants know you're voe.

yeah what a horrible thing for them to do. actually wanting to make their product good? fuck these guys man.
Because I said that
that's how i took it but in retrospect it's possible you didn't mean it like that. my bad. have they? only thing I hear clamoring for is an actual story for TPP and for them to release the unfinished chapter Off the top of my head: "Man I want a Spartan 3 Halo game in the style of Ground Zeroes" "I'd love to see them make a game of smaller Ground Zeroes-esque levels in the Fox Engine" "The gameplay is so robust you could apply it to so many genres, I'd love to see them branch out" Granted these aren't the hardcore Metal Gear fans we're talking about but still. Are you like a Konami rep or something? Their PR and handling with everything MGS V related has blemished them, whether you agree with it or not. I was just stating a fact that the Konami brand is pretty negative these days.
Konami is shit but these devs actually give a fuck and are passionate about the IP despite their situation. They're some cool down to earth people.

but u said ur using it like u used ur phone lol wtf r u saying no i'm saying that the time i would spend on my phone is now spent on my NS unless it's to make a call or something better than a mirror screen based on my obersavations it just doesn't seem worth it. "mirror screens" have their advantages too. its better than the x1 and PS4 in that it has good games that are actually exclusive but I meant as portable it should have antiglare otherwise in relation to hardware it doesn't bring anything that new to the table
the portable aspect is what it brings to the table.

the worst thing about the game is just the concept
like, what place do zombies have in this franchise
but it's whatever
yeah i get that, and i'm not someone who was fond of the whole zombies concept even back in its hayday a couple years ago. but these developers clearly care and that's worth overlooking the concept if you ask me, even just to give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise

Yeah, I don't see what's to hate about the game. It looks like they took TLOU's survival and crafting systems and applied it to the cooperative mission structure of Portable Ops and Peace Walker.
I think I'll wait for a sale on Steam or if they ever decide to bring it to the NS. The 4-player missions would be a blast with your friends in the same room.
couldnt understand anything but it seems really intense
theres subtitles if u turn captions on you didnt miss much tho

ok... whatever I don't see how that how most people are spending time on it. It's a console I'd say most people are spending a lot of time playing it. what?? thats exactly how im spending my time on it... Who's upset? My point is we have the technology to defy the laws of the universe, yet Nintendo is too greedy to do it. It is a problem. Everybody can ignore glare, but we shouldn't have to. antiglare isnt 100% effective. How old is it? a year old What competitors? Maybe I'm unaware but I haven't really seen any other popular handheld gaming devices. I think it's pretty expensive.
it directly competes with ps4 and x1. its classified as a home console. the 3ds is still in production.

Y'all know about this?
This is the cutscene I got on my first/current playthrough. I climbed the tower and got the quest to meet Sidon, but I took a detour, got distracted, forgot about the quest and paraglided into Zora Domain from the cliffs.
that's cool. i think i prefer the original intro though. i little more endearing.

Halloween stress is the best stress
How’s your costume coming?
I'm hoping to have it done by Friday, but we'll see how that goes. The face part is done, and I got most of the skin on the body suit. Gonna try getting paint on today, and then figure out how to make the one leg loo intestinal. After that, all I have left is the tail bone, but I haven't quite thought that one through yet
This stuff sounds expensive
Wut, naw I've spent not much more than $40 so far. I make the most out of the littlest I can. I wasn't happy with mow much the second bottle of liquid latex cost me tho, Party City is a rip off
Pretty cool that you can do that without spending too much
Post some pics when you finish
Casper doesn't need any incentive to post pictures. I say we see enough of him as it is.

I always keep my room clean and organised. I learned when I was a little bitch-ass kid that if you put your toys away in the same spot when you're done with it, you're more efficient and can play with them for more time. The habit just stuck with me through video games, movies, books, etc. to the point where I'm basically Desty playing Tetris with my organisational skills.

That hasn't been the case for me. I only ever go on my phone to talk to someone or pass the time when I'm away from my computer or my console. The NS removes that problem for me. It's just like the DS or PSP. I don't understand what you're saying here. You don't play often or you do?
When I'm out-and-about, I only play as much as I would go on my phone before. Sometimes I only play for a few minutes, sometimes longer. It just depends on what I'm doing but in the last week since I've owned it I haven't left the house without it. Never know when you're going to have to waste some time. Glare is always an issue. You can't say later on in your post that you have an anti glare laptop and you still notice some glare and at the same time say it's a non issue. Come on man. Just because I notice it doesn't make it a problem. That's just how light works, lol. I'm not going to get all upset at how the laws of the universe apply to my gaming devices. Maybe it isn't that good. Maybe, but it was one of the more expensive ones available at the store. I think it's expensive enough already, it should have an anti glare screen as is. That's my point. Phones should have it too. $1000 for an iPhone and you can't see shit in the sun. It's bullshit.
Well the NS is more affordable than its competitors and offers more from a hardware standpoint IMO, so sacrificing that angle for when I wanna see my game just a little bit better isn't worth it.

And how is that any different from the NS, or any other portable gaming device? Because you'll be playing for longer than you'll be looking at random shit on your phone which you don't even really pay attention too.
That hasn't been the case for me. I only ever go on my phone to talk to someone or pass the time when I'm away from my computer or my console. The NS removes that problem for me. It's just like the DS or PSP. Glare became a non-issue after the DS came out because you could adjust the brightness. The glare is still there, though. Even with an iPhone on maximum brightness you'll still have noticeable glare, and I really don't see how that's acceptable. Anti glare screens should be more common place his day and age. I have an anti-glare laptop and the glare on that is still noticeable. I'm not saying there's no glare when I play, but for the few times where you're playing on the surface of the sun, it's perfectly manageable. Granted this guy looks like he has the brightness at around medium, but I wouldn't know, I don't own a Switch. From some google searching I've seen quite a few Reddit pages with people complaining about this.
I don't see why we as consumers shouldn't push for better technology. Especially when it's 200 bucks.
Would an anti-glare screen be appreciated? Sure, I guess. But all it would do is push the price up more and I really don't see it being worth it. I play this thing on the train, on the bus, on long drives, while I'm taking a shit -- whatever. I really haven't had any problems with it.

The worst part is I hear the Devs are actually trying to make it good
but Konami is over their shoulders, so negativity will always follow
yeah what a horrible thing for them to do. actually wanting to make their product good? fuck these guys man. its almost like this game takes the gameplay from tpp and puts a different spin on it, like how everyone and their grandmother has been clamoring for. and with konami on board? when have they ever released a quality product in their long history of extremely successful franchises, right? what a trainwreck this project is.

It's not the same thing. Unless you're alone and bored out of your mind waiting for somebody you're not gonna be be on your phone that much. And how is that any different from the NS, or any other portable gaming device? And at the end of the day you can text easily enough with the brightness very high. You can adjust the brightness on the NS too... This is a video game device. It should have an anti glare screen. Getting an anti glare screen protector isn't a solution, you lose video quality and it looks grainy. That's just not acceptable and buying a 3rd party accessory so you can see outside on a sunny day is bullshit.
It's really not as big a deal as you're making it. It was 20° C and sunny today and some guy was making me wait like 40 minutes to deliver something to him. I turned the brightness up about 3/4ths and had no issues playing. You don't even need a glare reduction accessory, I'm not sure why anyone would buy one.

It's back up, but my sides continue to be in orbit.
A reflective screen? What the hell is the point of a portable console if you can't even see the screen outside?
can you see your phone outside? its the same thing
