I just finished it within the hour. There are some changes I would like to make on second glance, but overall, I think it turned out pretty good. Considering this is my first attempt at something like this.

Thoughts?

At least he looked cool. As far as I'm concerned, he's better than Bojack or most of the Black Star Dragons.

Most of the movie villains were terrible except for Janemba. Janemba was cool.
Agreed.

Except its optional and you don't need them to play well in Warzone. And they don't affect Arena Multiplayer at all.

I know. As far as I'm concerned, this is a fine trade-off.

It's like you guys think this is a bad thing...

Battlefront 1 and 2 are very similar to Battlefield. This just seems like the most natural progression of the franchise (well, the most natural progression the franchise could take while under EA's mighty thumb.) It looks fun, and it's Star Wars. Obviously, I'm not pre-ordering shit, and I'll probably buy it used, but it still looks like a blast.

I always expected this shit to get EA-ified. Ever since they confirmed no Clone Wars or Galactic Conquest. Angry Joe was right on the money, as per usual.

I've heard rumors that this isn't Big Boss we're seeing, but a fourth clone.

What do you think, Snake?

There isn't a doubt in my mind that it's Snake. A lot of people believe that there are more clones; Ishmael could be one. The medic from GZ could be one. Sounds like bullshit to me. And he definitely isn't Gray Fox. That would degrade the whole message of TPP, I think.

I think it's more than likely that Ishmael is simply a figment of BB's imagination. After awakening from a coma, Snake's subconsious creates Ishmael to help Snake get out of the hospital alive. It's interesting to note that while he is clambering around with extreme difficulty, Ishmael is doing fuck all except standing guard. He never once tries to help Snake. He is also voiced by Kiefer, as is the medic from GZ. But tbh, I just think the medic was just lazy on KojiPro's part. Nothing substantial to be noted.

I suppose it's a possibility that there are multiple BB clones running around aside from David and Eli, but I haven't seen enough evidence to support it. The best thing I can find that leads me to believe this Snake is different is from the beginning of GZ, where BB is referred to as "Snake" instead of Big Boss. It's just odd, given Peace Walker's ending.

Well, the whole MGS storyline is pretty wonky unless you pay attention to every tiny, little detail from what I've seen. <___<

Oh well, can't wait for this game.  Got Ground Zeroes for free on PS+ and I'm having a blast with it.

Yeah, if nothing else, The Phantom Pain will have great gameplay, guaranteed. Which is all you can really ask for. In the new E3 demo shown off today, they confirmed that you'll be able to play as other characters beside Big Boss. Here's to hoping for Solid Snake/Liquid Snake/Raiden DLC in the future!

Garbage, mostly.

Xbox started off solid, but relied too heavily on indie games. Worse, the indie games they focused on were gay as fuck (seriously, what the fuck is Cuphead. At least Ori and the Blind Forest was cool.) Hololens was really cool, but I'll need to see more practical uses before I jump on-board. 7/10

EA was just no. Literally only Battlefront, which is going to be EA-ified, anyways. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to drag Pele into this monotonous horse fuck? Why should we care about HoopGawd? 4/10

Ubisoft? Same shit as always. Awkward as fuck Aeisha(?) Tyler, broken promises and EA Jr.. Only For Honor, Ghost Recon and the new South Park game had me interested. But rest assured, if I do buy these games, it'll be used. 5/10

Sony didn't do much wrong. They didn't do much right, either. The Last Guardians was boring. Not really interested in it at all. Same with Shenmue 3 and the Final Fantasy XII remake. I still have no idea what No Man's Sky is about, but fuck does it look big. Uncharted 4 looks pretty but it's Uncharted - nothing of value. Rocksteady showed us the first 4 minutes of Knight, which got me reasonably more hyped than I already am. Destiny's trailer was cool, loved the voice over. New supers look awesome. Fortunately, I won't be buying it until I see some improvement on Bungie's part. Fool me once, shame on you. Twice, me. But, oh god, why does Sony keep bringing Sean Layton(?) back? He is the fucking worst! This is the same fag who walks on stage last year and literally says,

"So, video games, right?"

The crowd was silent as a crypt. He's the worst. Just... no. 8/10
I wonder how much money Sony is going to lose on the last guardian. There's NO WAY it sells that well. I think it literally only appeals to people who have played Ico and Shadow of the Collosus. Like I want the game but that stage demo was utter shit.

I didn't even know what the fuck I was watching, honestly. I knew it was the last guardian, but I didn't know what the last guardian even was. I still don't.

Remind me tomorrow to post a picture of my custom made lightsaber. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Wow, that sounds really cool!

It is. It's the first piece of my Jedi costume. Initially, I was going to wait until The Force Awakens to buy Luke Skywalker's RotJ outfit and this saber, but my friend and I decided to be Han and Chewy for the midnight showing. So I just bought the saber now and said fuck it to the costume.

Yeah, as I said elsewhere in this thread I'm going to go as a Stormtrooper. Now, whether I go as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or the First Order depends on the availability of the latter armor set before release. I've heard the new suits are a lot more comfortable from 501st members who were at Celebration, so I would prefer to be a First Order Stormtrooper, but the classic armor would still be really cool.

Ha. A friend of mine just sold his Galactic Empire outfit to be able to afford his Iron Man costume for Civil War (I'm going in my Captain America gear). I've seen it up close, you can't even sit in that thing! Definitely get the First Order. It also looks bad ass. Captain Phasma or Boba Fett would be cooler, though.

I'd love to go as Boba Fett, seeing as he's one of my favorite characters, but I feel a Fett costume would be harder to put together. A company called Anovos is producing Stormtrooper (both GE and FO) for a reasonable price, and seeing as I don't have the time to build a Fett suit I thought a Stormtrooper would be easier overall.

I see where you're coming from. I've looked all over the internet for a good BF costume and couldn't find shit. Stormtroopers are easier to find, I reckon.
It's cos their suit is uniform and easier to mass produce. Fett's is varied and not entirely symmetrical so it's more of a pain to make.
That's what I figured. Still, if I'm going to spend north of one thousand on a Star Wars costume, it's going to be all-or-nothing Boba Fett. I'll wait until I find the right costume.

Why did you call her Verbatim's waifu?
Because I support (most) her opinions regarding feminism and have heavily enjoyed her Tropes vs. Women series.

I don't at all agree with, however, her opinions regarding violence in video games.

Ah, I see. So it's just another unclever attempt to dismiss your arguments, then.

Whatever the fuck Destiny was supposed to be.

Or

A third-person exploration game set in a post-apocalyptic galaxy (think, Mad Max + Spargus from Jak 3) with extreme character creation (including hoop gawd facial capture). There is no story and no NPCs, you can literally do anything (think, if you wanted to be the cryptarch from destiny, you can.) Its up to players to build the society within the game.

This would be totally awesome to see unfold. At first, everyone would be equal. Then, there would be territorial disputes, wars would start, leaders would rise. All of the people in game being real players. Death is death. You cannot come back from it. This gives incentive to, you know, not die.

Eventually, rebellion would start when the shitty players keep getting fucked over.

Im just rambling but fuck that would be awesome.

Ive been watching Cry play MGS3 and i gotta say, its pretty impressive as far as depth and mechanics go.

But holy fuck is it cheesy and its aware of it obviously but its just so cheesy its hard to watch.

Yeah, MGS3 is like that. That's why I prefer MGS1. It's a bit more grounded tbh. MGS2 is just... no. Fun game and interesting story, but it's just the most wat game of all time.
Whats wrong with 2? I had it on my PS2 long ago but i couldnt get the hang of it and didnt play it.

To the uninitiated, it was really convoluted, incoherent and unrealistic. There's a vampire, and fat, mad bomber on roller skates, and a girl that bullets bounce off of magically. Liquid is taking over Ocelot via an arm implant, you play as someone other than Snake...

Though, it's probably my favourite in the series. It's Kojima's genius at his best, and in terms of meta-narrative, I haven't seen anything on par with it. Like, ever.

My first one was MGS4. The cutscenes man... My God. And shortly after I started, probably around the beginning. I'm walking around. And there's a guy in a trash can with diarrhea. I'm like what the fuck is going on. MGSV has a bit of silliness. But it seems depressingly dark too.

I have no doubt that MGSV will be the most grounded of the series... I mean, Peace Walker was a good indication of what Kojima is capable of in that regard. But I hope there is some traditional Kojima silliness present, like upgrading your Walkman to have the pumpin' tunes play out loud. I can't wait to knock down a wall and shoot the enemies in reflex mode with Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen playing for all to hear.

It was... I was hoping for a gameplay demo, but all we got was a montage trailer with no stealth at all.
