I prefer manual. I just feel like I have no control over my vehicle's performance in an automatic.
I'm looking at a shitty 96 Ford Ranger manual for the winter. My current car won't last very long in the Canadian cold, and with the icey roads, I need more control.
Keep some sandbags in the back for weight over your rears for grip, man. I can't remember if 4wd was an option on rangers back then.
Thanks for the tip. It all depends on how much money I have at the end of the summer, because I may just buy a non-shit car with 4WD. I do really like the way the Ranger looks, though.
