I just now finished mostly everything. Completed the Catwoman part with Riddler. All I have left is like 204 trophies and a few Firemen to find. Those trophies though. It's gonna take forever. I'm thinking about trying to get the Platinum too. Maybe. Even Arkham Asylum took forever for me to get that...
I completed the half-Knightfall protocol on Tuesday and I'm about 100 Riddler challenges off from confronting mecha-Nigma. I was looking forward to doing the challenge maps and retaining my status in the top 100, but there's like, 4 maps. So that probably isn't happening.
Asylum was super easy to do, though. These trophies aren't all that hard to get. There's just a bunch of them lol. I Platinum Arkham Origins on Xbox, I can do this.
What did you think of the game? I never got your thoughts on it.
I loved it. Better than Asylum, and definitely better than Origins. There was just something about Arkham City though. It seems better overall. But I like the story. Good game. Great even. In fact, it's my top game of this year so far. Though Heavensward could take that. Or Fallout 4. Probably MGSV though
I do hope the series is done though. Arkham Knight couldn't even top City. It did top it in some aspects, but overall, no. There's just no way they can top City or Knight. I can't think of much more they could add to the series. And if it's just the same as Knight, every facet of the game would need to be executed perfectly, for the game to even stand a chance of topping either or being as good even.
Man, I'm almost in complete opposition to you. I like this more than City, but not more than Origins, and definitely not more than Asylum. Like you said, there was just something about [Asylum]. Yeah, I agree it's the best game I've played this year so far... but that doesn't say much, honestly. I still haven't played MGSV or The Witcher 3. There's no way they're done. The fact that WB made Rocksteady acknowledge Origin's canonicity so many times in the game basically confirms that WBM will be making more Batman games. I wouldn't be surprised if Rocksteady tries something with Superman, though. The amount of easter eggs that are in the game for him is ridiculous. Obviously, being a huge Superman fan, I am not opposed to this.

Has nothing to do with Azrael. Don't let the ignorant drones of the Arkham games tell you differently.
Spoiler Some say that's Azrael at the end of the Full Knighfall ending
I know, that's why I said what I said. Those people are wrong. Spoiler First off, Azrael's fate is completely left up to player choice, and regardless of that choice, we know his story regarding the Batman is ended. Secondly, people claiming that Bruce Wayne killed himself in the explosion are forgetting that Bruce would never put Alfred in harm's way. They both got out alive, and Batman "killed" Bruce Wayne and used the fear toxin to create what we see at the end of the game. That's why I dismiss people who say Azrael has anything to do with the ending.

It's really frustrating because I've put X amount of hours into the game, and I have a lot of the riddler trophies, but if I can't apprehend Riddler, what's the point? The pads where the Bomb Rioter portions are supposed to spawn are simply not there at all. And whenever I go to interrogate someone from Miagani Island (because that's where I'm focussing my efforts) they give me riddle locations on Bleake/Founder's Island.
Edit: Okay, so I figured it out. Until you do your first Bomb Rioter section, the others won't be labled on the map. Find out which island has 1 Bomb Rioter labeled in the bottom left corner of your map, and then focus your efforts on interrogating Riddler informants on that island. After successfully finishing your first Bomb Riot challenge, the islands will now show the correct number of Bomb Rioters left, in the legend. Hope this helps anyone.

do you use your xboner much?
I haven't used it since the Halo 5 Guardians Beta, except to download ODST. Why?
tempted to get one this winter.
Especially since Luis might get one
Literally the only game I'm getting for my Xbone is Halo 5. And even then, if it gets shit reviews, I'll probably just watch the campaign online.
Try and convince him to get PS4. That's where I'm getting my multiplat games so we can all play together.
But I don't wanna leave CK by himself on xb, plus the friends I do play with are xb1 too
Fuck.

Fuck your inb4
ACIV is a god damn masterpiece. It's so good that you're blinded by its greatness making you think it's bad.
Stop lying to me. You know it's shit.
We're not talking about MGS though.
Of course not. It's naturally assumed that when talking about objective quality in video games, MGS is always on the "not shit" side of the spectrum. Unlike AC4, which is almost the definition of "shit."
You seem to be confused.
The only thing I seem to be confused about is how anyone can think AC4 is a good game.

For me, it was so expected that I didn't expect it. I was ultimately let down by this game in general.
"Arkham Knight is a completely new and original character." Arkham Knight ends up being the least original character they could have used, Jason Todd.
"The Joker is absolutely dead. He's not coming back whatsoever. We want the focus to be Scarecrow and Arkham Knight." The game focuses primarily on the dynamic between the Joker and Batman - again - thanks to Scarecrow's toxin. Arkham Knight ends up being a whiny kid tormented by Joker.
Arkham Knight's motives aren't explained at all. For some reason, the helmet changes to red when unmasked - arbitrarily. Todd goes from only wanting Batman dead to saving his fucking life - within a half an hour. Hush was BUTCHERED with a quick time event, after having such an awesome appearance in City. There are FOUR combat/predator maps, all of which you play in the story. You cannot choose to play as any character from the previous games (Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman). Nightwing is only playable on a Dual Play combat map, Robin and Catwoman are completely absent, and Azrael (who is fun as HELL, admittedly) is on one combat map and that's it.
Battle mode is fun but overused. There are 4 Battlemode challenge maps that don't really do anything interested. Riddler races are fun but are so wat it's ridiculous.
Ugh. I can't even explain how upset I am at the game in general. It's still fun, and the first two acts are SICK. But this unorganised rant is over for now until I 100% the game.

Not quite sure what's going to RS's head this time around Rocksteady didn't do the PC port. A small no-name studio consisting of 12 people did the PC port.
Didn't know that. But still, there's a bunch of shit wrong with the game that make me question their competency.

So much for 2015 breaking the trend of broken games upon release.
Console version runs flawlessly, though. It's not an excuse for a broken game, I know. Not quite sure what's going to RS's head this time around... and that's in-reference to more than one problem with the game.

I'm currently on a mission helping Ivy kill Arkham Knight's tanks. Just after I found out who the "last Joker" was. I'm not disappointed at all really. Graphics are fantastic. Game runs great, gameplay is fun, and story is pretty good so far.
You'll see what I'm talking about once you get closer to the end of the game. You still have a few hours.
I do like the way Joker is still in the game but it's just soo overused I just sit there like "Okay, I get it already. We've had 3 games about this shit." It becomes predictable and cliche.
If you're talking about who the Arkham Knight is, I already know. I'm not that disappointed about it. Though I was hoping he was a completely original character, which he's not. What I'm kinda upset about, is the ending. You have to 100% the game to get the full ending. I was going to anyways. But man, that's going to take forever.
It was just so fucking expected that I was actually surprised it was Todd. So god damned lazy on Rocksteady's part. And dishonest. I don't know the full ending, I just finished my seventh Most Wanted storyline.

Buying Destiny was my second worst decision of 2014. I won't be making that mistake again, especially with this fishy milking bullshit we're seeing right here.
Arkham Knight to last me the summer, The Phantom Pain to last me forever. Fuck Bungie. At least their community is getting somewhat smarter.

Don't pre-order anything.
was it ever acceptable?
Yes, because of the limited quantity of the game.
I said 5 years ago, not my date of birth.
Games can still run out of quantity today. Rarely, though.

Oh, okay. Yeah, if that's the case, I agree. But what would constitute a life that would "suck"? If you've been, in your opinion, a good father to a child, would it not follow that things would stay the same? The same as what? Sorry, I don't quite follow the question.
If you've created a good (as it could be) life for the child, and then realise "Oh shit, having children is wrong", would it not follow that you allow things to stay the same between you and the child? I guess what I'm saying is, how would you know if you're creating a good life for your child?

If it were me, I'd have to leave her. Simple as that. I know it may not be as simple for you, and believe me, I've thought about scenarios like this before, and they scared the hell out of me. But I've had this philosophy for nearly three years, and it's basically my heart and soul, so... It doesn't really take much thought for me. Yeah, I think I've been calling myself an anti-natalist since Christmas of 2013, so about a year and a half. I'm not exactly a veteran, but I'm somewhat proficient at explaining myself now. Although, I've always been an antinatalist sympathiser since the days of B.net, back when you made a thread about how many children I wanted to have. I believe the words you used were "evil cuntbag", hahaha. Part of being an anti-natalist, of course, is taking initiative. Before you get into a relationship with anybody, make sure to find out first if they have any desire of becoming a biological parent. This. I made a thread before I left in Serious, about 3-5 things that are non-negotiable in a relationship, and one of my choices was that the person must be willing to not have biological children. But here's the catch: the problem for me would be my previous dating experiences. I've only loved two women in my life, and both of those relationships ended dreadfully (like, life-changing depression). So I would think that if I ever found myself in a relationship with someone I truly loved, and there were no speedbumps along the way, psychologically it might be too difficult for me to say "no" because I NEED that relationship. And if I didn't have the relationship, I might be prone to killing myself. God knows I've been wanting to for a long time, now. The only thing stopping me is the pain that my death would cause my loves ones. So would the potential suffering the child would endure be worth more than the suffering my loved ones would feel from my death? You should take whatever course of action you feel will be best. Adoption is just one thing you could do, if your child's life is guaranteed to suck if you continue to be its parent. Oh, okay. Yeah, if that's the case, I agree. But what would constitute a life that would "suck"? If you've been, in your opinion, a good father to a child, would it not follow that things would stay the same?

And don't feel pressured to agree with me, Snake, just because you're also an anti-natalist. I understand that the scenario is difficult, and typing up my initial response was a little bit painful for even me. It's just my interpretation, and I don't want to speak for all anti-natalists. So if you disagree, that's fine, I don't really expect anybody to agree with me. I just hope you can see where I'm coming from, at the very least. I don't feel pressured to agree with you. And it's not that I disagree with you, it's just that I don't want to commit to saying "I would do this", simply because I'm just not sure what I WOULD do in the given scenario. And honestly, I'm searching for an opinion of yours that we don't agree on. It's simply uncanny how many viewpoints we share. That's really been my mission over the past few months--not necessarily to convince anyone of the philosophy, but to get people to see where I'm coming from.
Well, for what it's worth, you're doing a better job than I am. I'm always having this conversation with my religious friends that simply cannot grasp the concept of AN. You'd think being religious would make someone more of an advocate for anti-natalism, considering that "God has no grandchildren".
