My cousin is constantly telling me Arkham Origins has a good story

I'm sure he'll appreciate this

If you count it as it's own continuity, it certainly does. At least in comparison to City and Knight.

I don't read many comics but I really like The Bash Street Kids.
Not familiar with them, honestly. I did look them up, though.

And Spiderman/Batman
Who do you think would win in a fight?

Spiderman. He's a genius with super strength. Plus I prefer him. He has way better villains and I like his personality.

Though Batman would win with some kind of asspull :(

Good. At least you acknowledge that. Batman would have his hands full with 616 Captain America, let alone Spider-man. Though, Batman is a much better martial artist and he's also a genius (maybe more so than Spider-man).

But yeah, I don't understand how people can say Batman is relatable/has a good personality. He's boring as fuck, man. That's always why I liked Dick Grayson better as Batman.

I do enjoy the Batman stories but I don't find him relatable at all, they are just good stories. He can get a bit too OP sometimes though, he just manages to win everything. Spiderman loses sometimes and its awesome how he comes back

My problem with Spider-man is that he's repeatedly "beaten up" by the writers and he isn't given a proper "resurrection" (for lack of a better term). He's constantly getting shit on, and his life is basically defined by his failures, but he's never really given any time to fix himself as a result.

I couldn't agree more with Batman. But there's only a few times where I really like his depiction. Especially in recent years. And it bothers me when people fault Superman for being too OP and then go on to say Batman is their favourite character... If I'm being honest, I would argue Batman is more OP than Superman.

I haven't really read that much Spider-Man, I've only seen the cartoons and movies.

90's Spider-man with the Aerosmith intro was the fucking bee's knees, man.

Batman is way more OP than Supes in a sense, though. At least Superman has weaknesses. Batman just wins fights because he's Batman

You know when you're just a regular human and you repeatedly stand your own against gods and monsters, there's something going on there.

I mean, I get Batman taking down people like Killer Croc because he's far smarter than Croc, but there's no way Batman holds his own against JL enemies like Doomsday, Darkseid, Brainiac, etc.

That's exactly why I like Daredevil, actually. He's like Batman, if Batman actually lost anything and had legitimate shit to brood about night after night.

Maybe I'll have to go out and buys some DD comics. Anything you recommend?

wolverine, duh

Solid choice. If you had to choose someone to replace Hugh Jackman, do you have any ideas who could?
i like the hugh jackman wolverine but it's getting repetitive, i'd prefer if we got him in the classic yellow and blue suit.

It's just really hard to picture what that would look like in real life. X3 is probably the closest thing to it.

But I heard that the next Wolverine movie is his last...

Deathstroke, Green Arrow, The Joker, Batman, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Hawkgirl, The Hulk, Deadpool, Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Iron Man

Do you actually like Iron Man's comics or are you just into RDJ's portrayal?

Deathstroke is in my top 5 as well. Spider-man, too.

Green Arrow, Batman (Bruce Wayne), Green Lantern, DD and Hawkgirl are all pretty meh. At least, to me. Though, John Stewart is far more interesting than Hal Jordan.
And yeah, John Stewart to me is the Green Lantern. I never knew who Hal Jordan was until many years after the Justice League cartoon. I always thought Green Lantern was black.

Yeah, I remember that one episode where John Stewart turns into Halo Jordan. I was like "what the fuck is this?"

Well, we finally live in a world where Aunt May is hot.

Still, I'll be very surprised if Holland can succeed as Spider-man. I mean, we all know the material will be good, but I'm always skeptical of child actors. It's going to be hard to match Garfield's charisma.

I've been watching Community and now I fully support Donald Glover as Miles Morales

I can tell from your avatar. I strangely relate to Abed a lot, not sure what that's supposed to mean or anything <_<

Though, I wouldn't want Miles Morales on the big screen yet. He needs more work in their comics before anything else. Plus, we don't even know what's going to happen after Secret Wars.

If I made my own comics would it count?

Sure, but that's the equivalent of a professional athlete saying their favourite player is themselves.
I'm more self confident over narcissistic.

Wasn't my intention to imply either.
What if i utilized someone else's character(s) and personality/diction?

You seem to have something specific in mind, so knock yourself out. I just don't know how much I'll be able to contribute to the conversation if I don't know anything about the subject.

Daredevil, John Constantine, Animal Man, Martian Manhunter, Beta Ray Bill, and Atrocitus.

Manhunter > the rest of your list

But to be fair I don't have much experience with your last two choices

Beta Ray Bill is Thor if he were a cyborg alien horse. That makes him objectively better than Thor in every way you can think of.
Oh yeah, now I remember him. He was in Planet Hulk. Yeah, from what I could tell, he was pretty cool.

Quote
Atrocitus RAGED so hard after he lost his family (and the rest of his section of space, but mostly his family) that he made his own Red Lantern battery and Corps and started killing the Guardians of the Universe. He's like Kharn the Betrayer with an omnipotent piece of jewelry. I like that he actually has legitimate reasons for being that pissed off, since the Guardians are a bunch of little blue assholes.

Lol.

I always hated the whole Lantern shit, man. It was never my bag. Especially after I found out about the orange lanterns.

She's supposed to be a strong middle age matriarch.

She's not his grandmother, she's his aunt.

She's supposed to be like that... Maybe not "weak", but I don't remember Aunt May ever being portrayed like that.

Spider-man, Deadpool, Daredevil, Rorschach, Spider Jerusalem, and Spawn from the Dark Ages series.

Spawn is sick, I need to get caught up on their comics >_>

Spider-man, DP, DD and Rorschach are all sold choices, though. I was hoping that Rorschach would be MKX DLC, but IDK about that anymore.

I have no experience with Spider Jerusalem.

"Joker specifically said he'd kill him if Batman showed up."

...Does she expect Batman to walk in through the front door in broad daylight? If Batman doesn't want anyone to know he's there, then nobody will know he's there.

Exactly. Let me say again, "contrived as fuck".

But honestly, that's the least of my worries for the DLC.

Would love to give it a shot. The only games I know how to make are on GameMaker.

17095
YouTube

It's being developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, the same company that created Arkham Origins.

I'm skeptically optimistic, because Batgirl is my favourite Bat-character, and I enjoyed Origins for what it was.

But this fucks up all established canon.

Tim shouldn't be Robin until after Asylum (just before City, actually), but this game takes place seemingly years before Asylum where Oracle is still Batgirl. Not to mention, Tim has a buzz cut here, where he shouldn't until much later on.

It seems like a missed opportunity. They could have cleared up what happened with
Batman: Arkham Knight spoilers
Jason and the Joker.
Instead they want to push
Batman: Arkham Knight spoilers
an already rushed romance between Tim and Barbara
onto us so that it makes a little bit more sense in the main story.

Other gripes:
Harley Quinn looks fucking retarded. Her TAS appearance feels really out-of-place here.
"Batman can't come here because Joker said he would kill dad if he does." Contrived as fuck.

On the bright side, apparently Prometheus is going to be in the DLC as a side-mission. Which is just GREAT, honestly. Such a cool character needs the spotlight for awhile.

Prometheus

(inb4 he's another tank boss battle)

So, what are your thoughts on the DLC?

P.S.: I tried to keep any Arkham Knight spoilers out of the OP, try to do the same in your comments.

Somehow, the name "Tyger" suits you. I can't quite put my finger on why.

I actually know who you are, so... shoot.
I always thought you were kind of dumb. But, to be honest, it really doesn't bother me. You're not an "idiot", insomuch as you're an uneducated, irritating stain on the boot of humanity; it's more a case of you don't know as much as I'd like (whatever that counts for), but you're willing to learn. I haven't seen you on Sep7 all that much, but from what I remember you're an easy guy to get along with and enjoyable to talk to.

So you're saying that my "dumbness" is just a lack of knowledge you deem important? Or is it that I'm unable to apply the knowledge I do posses? Because I can agree with the former, I don't care much for politics or economics, which is obviously your bag.
