Well holy shit...

Sounds like I'm not alone here.

<3

Why do you like Superman? Same reasons or...?

[And I shit you not, I was about to use that gif.]

I wonder, why do you like Superman?

Honest question, I want to know.

He has a charisma to him that I enjoy. At the heart of it, it's his personality that I'm drawn to.

I love that he has the power to do whatever he wants, but doesn't.

"What right do I have to impose my will on the people of Earth?"

He just good for the sake of being good. I fucking love it. [That's also why I like Captain America, too.]

And I find him relatable. I know, hard to believe. But I know what it's like to feel alone in the world. It speaks to me in a way that other characters don't.

Also, he just looks fucking cool.

Add onto that foundation with a laundry list of amazing feats like crushing black holes with his hands, bench-pressing a planet, and lifting an object of infinite weight, and I don't see a reason NOT to like the Man of Steel.

WHAT THE FUCK

I can't see the entirety of your bio, btw.

16687
your avatar is superman and psn name is kal el...

And? It's not like a "fanboy" likes something more than a "fan". They're not labels for the degree in which we like something.
So what separates you from a fanboy/

How I talk about Superman. Fanboys don't listen to logic or reason, they only see what they want to.

Which is irrelevant because I don't consider Man of Steel to be a Superman movie.

Sometimes I wonder about this place.

Also, this is a reminder that there are very few Marvel movies that can top Man of Steel, let alone The Dark Knight.
man of steel is a terrible movie

To the untrained eye, sure.
you're a superman fanboy though

Nah, I'm a Superman fanboy. There's no difference.

Here's a list of movies from Marvel that are better than MoS:
Every Marvel movie including Howard the Duck

MoS and TDK are all eh movies but they lack the memorability and comedy of all the MCU.
Fixed.

If you're going to sit there and tell me Iron Man 2, The Dark World and Ant Man are better than The Dark Knight, you've absolutely destroyed any sense of credibility you may have had.

TWS
Iron Man

Avengers/Avengers 2/Guardians are all quality movies but they lack the seriousness and reality of the other two I mentioned.

Ain't sticking around to watch challenger and prehisnake fight or try to discuss an issue that nobody is going to come to a concensus on.

Threads like these speak to the rational who watch it happen.

I know there are people here who could be anti-natalists in the future, they just haven't seen a compelling argument -- yet.

Calm down bro. Parroting Verbatim doesn't make you relevant.

Regurgitating awful memes doesn't make you relevant, but you do it all the same.
People are posting memes in this thread? You drunk?

No? I never said that you were.

But everywhere else, yeah, you do.

Bro, you're making me throw up with how much you're riding Verbatim. Stop.

Someone's mad tho. I would be too if I was being consistently humiliated by "my boy".
This is why you're irrelevant.

Me and verbatim are having a discussion, and you're in here like some sort of cheerleader or something. It's gross.

I agreed with him, replied to another user and called you out for bullshit.

Yup, definitely riding his dick.

Sorry mate, it's a forum and I can say whatever the fuck I want. If you want a private discussion, PM him. Otherwise, you can fuck off with your petty attempts to degrade my argument.

Yes I can. I can absolutely guarantee happiness. And suffering.

Oh, come on, man. That's absolute bullshit and you know it.

Please be true.

tfw I would consider myself non-anti-natalist but I agree with Verb.

That would make you an anti-natalist...

I used to be, what I called, an "anti-natalist sympathiser". But then I realised that that's bullshit, and if I agreed with anti-natalists, then I am an anti-natalist.

I mean, it's not like you have to ask to join a club or anything. You either are or you aren't.

[btw, non-anti-natalist=natalist]

Gaming / Re: curved displays? (need a monitor)
« on: July 20, 2015, 07:03:49 PM »
It depends. What do you plan on using your monitor for? PC Gaming or console?

If it's console, I can recommend the ASUS MX279H.
both. plus i'm going to connect a set up box and use it as a tv too

Do you plan on playing anything higher than 1080p/60FPS?
I can't lmao. my kit could probs only run shit at 1080p

Then yeah, I highly recommend the monitor I posted above. It's 27", which is large enough to be a TV but small enough to work as a competitive monitor. The colours are just GORGEOUS, and it has an impressive 5MS response time (which you might not even notice, but I did.)

It also looks pleasing to the eye. I haven't had any problems at all with this monitor, and if you have the money, I highly recommend it.
it's a little out my price range, what do you think of the flat screen ones i linked in the op? their specs are similar to that of the asus you linked

these pages have better specs sheets for the monitors i linked.
samsung
acer

The Samsung is far better, IMO. Better response time, brighter, more colours, etc...
