Solid Snake really does look like Big Boss. Here, at least. Post other cool screenshots and stuff. [Edit: Maybe we should spoiler our photos, yeah?] [Edit 2: And if you feel the need to, I don't know, discuss sexual exploitation within certain video games, ala, Witcher 3 or God of War, feel free. It won't be off topic at all, and surely wouldn't justify a lock.]

No. I'll check your account out later if you don't mind and PM you the temp password I'll have to change your account to to log in.
Is that cool?
Yup, sounds good to me. Thanks a bunch.
Fixed. For some reason (and this may apply to others, so if you're having trouble, listen up) you had the "hide ignored members' posts" option in your Look and Layout page unchecked. I checked it for you and tested it to make sure, and it's functioning as intended now.
Thanks, big guy.

Needs to happen ASAP.
omg, YES. Have you seen the finale yet?
No, I haven't. I binge-watched everything that was on netflix, plus the season after that online. I started the latest season but never followed up. I'll just buy the blu-ray if I get the chance. Was it good? The finale, mean.

It's actually more akin to someone being disgusted at someone for not eating french fries and yelling at everyone else to not eat them as well.
No, it isn't. Even if it was, no one is yelling at anyone.

Everytime I see Verbatim or anyone who has a similar view argue for their ideology, I become more disgusted the longer it goes on. I'm sorry but this view is ridiculous in my opinion. That's... pretty ridiculous. How could you be disgusted at someone who actively doesn't have kids? That's like getting grossed out at someone who doesn't eat french fries. See how retarded that is? [Rant incoming] I mean, you honestly think I want to be an antinatalist? Because I sure as fuck don't. But, as a human, I have a moral obligation. There is no worthwhile argument for natalism. If I saw one, I wouldn't be an antinatalist. It disagrees with the most important things I've ever wanted in my life. I've wanted kids since I was 8. I've had their names planned out since I was 10. There is no ethical alternative. It's the same as veganism. I'm a vegan because I have a moral obligation to be. Now, most people respond to veganism with either: 1. An accepting of the fact that veganism is ethically superior to the alternative, but don't care (for whatever reason) and continue with their meat-eating practices 2. A denial of the sound arguments behind the ideology and continue eating meat 3. Becoming a vegan Same can be said for antinatalism. You either: 1. Understand the movement, but don't care (which makes you an apathetic CUNT in my books) 2. Don't understand the movement because you're i) too stubborn ii) too stupid or, 3. You become an antinatalist Personally, I'm not okay with apathy. That's why I have such extreme viewpoints. And I can forgive people who consume meat and dairy to an extent -- it's an addiction. But what I can't forgive is people who dismiss the argument that having kids is wrong. I understand that people are less likely to argue an orthodoxy, but it is the most sound argument I've ever seen. And it doesn't affect you in any way, shape or form. Just don't have kids. You've never had kids in the past, so you're not missing out on anything. And if you are, fucking adopt a kid! Save a poor child's life. Forget all this "extinction of the species" shit. When you die, the earth could implode and you wouldn't know the difference. You're fucking dead, it doesn't matter. The difference between the human race ending and ascending into apotheosis (which will likely never happen) is virtually non-existent because 99.99% of people who ever lived won't experience it. Including you. /end rant Sorry, just needed this out there.

It's the mute system for this site.
But how does it work?
I can still see people I've put on my Ignore list posts.
It should spoiler their posts.
But it doesn't. I'm guessing no one uses it, therefore these problems have been overlooked.
Mods and admins are immune, but anyone else gets their posts spoilered. I just tested it and it is working as designed. Are you sure you're adding users to the ignore list and not he buddy list?
I'm sure. I'm on mobile (not using Tapatalk), could that have anything to do with it?

For some reason I prefer Batman/WW and I blame the Justice League show for that.
Yeah, they do get some level of a romance in the comics, too. Which, as I said, I'm all for. I just don't think Batman works as well when having a girlfriend.
That being said Batman/Barbara Gordon>All
I prefer the Joker and Harley Quinn Batman and Catwoman are my fav tho
Arkham says Catwoman but Justice League says WW... I'm conflicted on the matter really.
Well, Batman and Catwoman do marry in several continuities. I think they work better, honestly.
The Superman/Wonder Woman thing may seem one-dimensional or shallow but the truth is, it's the opposite. It's really, really, good.
I want batman and poison ivy
Man, Batman gets 'em all.

You like WW/Superman?
Mhm.
Why? Genuine question.
Aside from the whole power couple thing, its the chemistry between them. They complement each other so well in the New 52, Superman can't do the things WW does and vice versa. And the fact that they legibly love each other and are so loyal to each other that it rivals to the classic Lois/Clark and MJ/Peter relationships. Literal gods in loved. Its cute and awesome!
Yo fuck that
Wonder Woman + Batsy forever
lolno
Wonder Woman + Superman is such a cliched fifth grade matchup
It's so one dimensional
Whereas with Wonder Woman + Batman adds so much more flavor
lolno
I guess you haven't read any Superman/WW comics.
Q4T These comic serfs have no idea.

he's like my favorite person on the site
Oh, Ty. You know just how to make a girl feel.
We need to play something together ASAP, broheim.
i made the mistake of buying the 0/10 boring scrolls online so I have nothing good to play and nothing fun seems to be coming out anytime soon:( I just realized I never posted my fav superheroes
I was thinking about getting Rocket Race or whatever it's called. Looks fun, but I've started playing a lot of MW2 with my friends as of late.
why doesn't the industry provide us with good gaemz.
Rocket League is pure unadulterated fun.
If I get it I'll hit you up with an invite. I just don't see it lasting more than a few days at max.

I've never heard of moon knight but a quick google image search tells me he's fucking awesome
At least aesthetically
Yeah, he's a c-lister over at Marvel. But he's really underrated. Basically, he used to be a Vietnam war vet type of deal who was pretty much a psycho and loved to kill and shit. While chilling in Egypt for some mission, he came across a temple to the Egyptian god, Khonsu, who is the deity of the moon and vengeance. Giving Spectre superpowers, he became the god's vessel of vengeance in today's world in exchange. Recent comics have made him far more tragic, but also quite interesting and badass. Marvel has a knack for writing love/hate relationships between their main characters and readers.

I literally made this thread like, a few weeks ago. Whatever. Any chance to talk about my one of my only interests is a chance I'm going to take. 5. Marc Spectre, Moonknight 4. Barbara Gordon, Batgirl/Oracle 3. Peter Parker, Spider-man. 2. Steve Rogers, Captain America He's the character everyone looks up to. Courageous, honest and righteous, he always does the right thing. His old-fashioned (and some would argue, antiquated) sense of justice and liberty is fresh and down-right charming. He's arguably the most skilled martial artist on earth (and in the Marvel Universe), and a brilliant tactician. Best of all, he doesn't actually possess any superpowers. Contrary to popular belief, he trained himself to be the master martial arts he is today. At least, that's the Earth-616 version (A.K.A., the only version worth talking about.) He's kind and wise. During the German's invasion of France, he was one of the only one's who truly understood their struggle. Unlike his shitty Ultimate counterpart that no one smart likes. I do really, really like the MCU's take on the character. While Chris Evans does a great job, I feel he looks to young to be respected. Ah, minor gripe, as he kicks fucking ass. Though I could only like him because my "ex" brainwashed me. Regardless, I think I like him. 1. Kal-El, Superman He has a charisma to him that I enjoy. At the heart of it, it's his personality that I'm drawn to. I love that he has the power to do whatever he wants, but doesn't. "What right do I have to impose my will on the people of Earth?" He just good for the sake of being good. I fucking love it. [That's also why I like Captain America, too.] And I find him relatable. I know, hard to believe. But I know what it's like to feel alone in the world. It speaks to me in a way that other characters don't. Also, he just looks fucking cool. Add onto that foundation with a laundry list of amazing feats like crushing black holes with his hands, bench-pressing a planet, and lifting an object of infinite weight, and I don't see a reason NOT to like the Man of Steel.

OMG YES! Another one!
Yeah, that one's good too. This is why I'm hopeful for Spider-man in the MCU - because I think having a really young Spider-man in comparison to Captain America is really going to sell the idea that Spider-man looks the fuck up to Cap. So much so that he has a mental block from fighting him.

I agree, actually. Shocker, I know. When they first started to hint at a potential romance, I was like -- --"Wait... what?" That kiss during the second story arc of Justice League, I think it was. It was just odd, and the Supes fan inside me was a little PO'd. Lois is his girl, fuck that! Especially since I had been warming up to the idea of WW/Batman like in the DCAU. But then I started to read the Superman/Wonder Woman comics. Man, they really were awesome together. "Cute and awesome" is a really good way to put it, actually. I kinda feel bad for Lois, though. You can tell there's some shit going on between those two... I'm really interested to see where this goes now, especially since Supes can't fly anymore after Convergence.

In a world full of shit, it really is, Superman can still believe in it and its people. Standing defiant to change his ideals and personality in a world were superheroes are getting darker and edgier. And yeah, just like Cap.
Yeah, that's a good point. Whereas Superheroes are getting darker and edgier, Superman remains constant. The darkest I've seen him in recent years is Superman: For Tomorrow, but that's only because Jim Lee drew him dark, lol. Cap said it best in Civil War: "Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right.
This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or consequences."
When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and the the whole world --
--'No, you move.'"
